Agreed on the engines chosen and factual info provided. This is entertainment, not going to be picky about pictures not always matching narration.

I had a 225 slant 6 in my first car, 302 Ford V8 in my second and a 455 4 bbl Oldsmobile Rocket in my 3rd. All great engines.

Should also mention the Ford 170/200/250 .. forerunner of the mentioned 300. no hot rod but a solid durable workhorse
@levyoliver53636 күн бұрын
Absolutely Right! The Ford 170, 200, and 250 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder are reliable and powerful engines aside from the 300 cu.inch. and don't forget the Turbo Thrift inline 6 Chevy engine. 250 and 292 c.i.

I once had a 1988 Chevy Celebrity Wagon with the 2.5 "Iron Duke" or "4 Tech"..push rod, rocker-arm, EI and EFI. I've read and heard a lot of negative reviews but I had no major problems with mine!!

Who the heck edited this video. When talking about the the Chrysler HEMI you showed not one but 2 FORD MUSTANGS, one a Shelby GT350. WTF???????????????

Yeah, I noticed that too.

Pontiac's 2.5 Iron Duke should probably be on this list somewhere.

Even the staunchest Chevy Fan will agreed that the Chrysler Slant Six is Bullet Proof, a bit weak on Power, and requires serious Intake Manifold to get even Distribution, but the Mechanicals are well made. I remember seeing one powering my uncle's Combine on the Farm. I will admit the Ford MOD had a Bulletproof Bottom End, they would hold on long after the rest of the Engine gave up the Ghost

1987 Chevy 4bbl 350 had more hp per cubic inch than the 454, as listed in stock condition.

The early 4.6 modular motors were junk. Whoever thought to mount the alternator on a plastic intake manifold had been an idiot.

@@levyoliver5363 Yes, until 86, Many ppl wanted to get in on the last chance to get a slant six and had to get a truck, like it or not.

@@BrianPatterson-k4q Yes i like it. Its' easy on gas and one of the most reliable engine Chrysler ever made. I think after the year 1986 the slant 6 was replaced by the 318 Powerball V6 engine
@BrianPatterson-k4q6 күн бұрын
@levyoliver5363 Yes the 3.9 litre V6, for like 25-30 years in Dakota's, Durangos and Rams.

I've had that wonder 4.9 Ford 6 and a couple cars with Chevy V8's and a car that had a proud 225 in it. When its late and you still have a ton of work to do hearing those engines was like a cup of coffee and hearing your partner say "we can get this one". Excellent choices, I would have added the old 223 Ford 6 to the list (I drove across this country towing a big trailer and with my foot to the floor the whole way and it never burped or complained).

Thought your subscription request was a hoot. Your sub count might go up if you bothered to at least review the "spooky voice" reeling off your script- things like saying "five" when the "V" was used it define engine configurations. It was also was a sign of your laziness with commercially available clip and views of cars that absolutely did not have the motor then being spooky voiced over. Not once or twice but many times. BTW, "Hemi tick" is a real thing, not an occasional thing; it is a "replace the engine" sort of expense when it happens. I may check here again in a bit to see if you are actually offering anything or just a car pornographer copying others work.
