Hey, guys I just wanted to clarify a couple of things down in the comment sections: 1. This video is not a paid promotion. I did not get paid by Konami to say or do anything in this video. The reason why I made this video is that I truly believe that this product is great. Yes, there are some cards that could be added to make this product better, but overall I truly believe that Konami is taking a huge step in the right direction to provide better products for the overall player base. I would only recommend the best for all my fans, that's why I think it's great for you guys to invest in a set like this. 2. In building a competitive inventory for YuGiOh, its always great to have a wide variety of cards to your disposal. Yes if you need certain cards, you can just go ahead to buy the singles. But for those of you who are starting out, I recommend you getting the 3 duel devastator because by just getting it once, you’ll have a bunch of accessible cards in your inventory. If I was starting out, I would do the same. That's just my opinion on what I think is best. I understand that not everyone may have the luxury to spend $120 on Yugioh products and that's completely fine. Everyone has a different budget for this game and that's understandable. I would like to apologize if I sounded a little bit hash or mean on the “ungrateful” part of the video. I always have the best interest for all my subscribers, but if you guys disagree with my choices thats completely ok! I hope I clarified everything! Thanks, guys have a wonderful day!

Yeah you have to spend a lot to have a chance to get any card the good thing is the card prices will come down after more copies are introduced so getting singles is still a good option.

I can tell Konami got you by the family jewels on this one and you don't wanna end up like Cimo (Getting on the bad side of Konami). In the future tho, I wanna see you list pros and cons for these kinds of "review videos". And believe it or not, content creators (including yourself) have a MAJOR part is what the player base buys. As a content creator and a big figure head in the Yugi-Tube community you should be able to freely voice out the pros and cons of sets ON THE VIDEO. It'll not only be helpful for your viewers, but also for Konami to improve their products if you outwardly state your suggestions and concerns for this set.

I agree on the first part and not on the second. Also I just want the game to be more affordable for all players. Not only for those who are willing to spent 100 euro to get 3 Impermanence etc. But I mean I just make proxies for most cards now, sooo I can't really complain either.

As a new yugioh player I legit preordered three of these when I saw them. Having access to so many useful side deck cards means I have a side deck for basically anything. People thinking Konami were going to chuck in basically the most expensive meta relevant cards are insane. What we got was pretty good. If you were going to buy playsets of all the useful cards in DUDE in would cost more than just buying three boxes of it.. especially so if it didn’t exist. People saying it’s trash really just come off like they think it was going to have impermanence, extravagance and phantazmay which is ridiculous.

One of the Konami employees even said that this year's Duel Devastator is going to be tough to beat for next year. Maybe those cards people wanted were saved for next year's version? And yeah, I couldn't really be bothered buying the singles for this product because the cards were guaranteed anyway and it would work out cheaper just to buy the product itself...Plus I wanted to see what Field Centers I'd get haha.

I agree with Sam full heartedly, that it's a very good product, and that Konami is taking the step in the right direction. The problem with everyone is that they're expecting unrealistic cards to be in there like phantazmay or impermanence, etc. While those would be nice, I feel like Konami is also being considerate of the seller market too cuz making very pricey cards now very easily accessible will screw over vendors that have a lot of inventory. All of their sudden their 90 dollar phantazmay will drastically drop since dude gives u guaranteed cards. Besides, sets will always have filler cards here and there. There NEVER has been a single set where every single entire card in the set was actually amazing

I have to say this is one of the best products that Konami has released. Vendors and people who make money through the second hand market are hating this set because it tanks the market on these cards. Personally I think it's about time Konami listened to what the players asked for and not what the vendors wanted. Sure some of the cards could have been different and it would have been a much better set , but as is it was amazing. Also look online you can find them for sale for as low as 25 USD each, so for 3 it would be 75 usd

You can pick up the Salamangreat Structure decks or any 3 Competitive structure decks that fit your play test. And buy singles of the good cards in DUDE as you will be saving much more as you'll have more cash to spend on stuff that isn't in the set.

Before you waste hella money do research. For 200 dollars you could make a deck that would win a major tournament. But if you dont like the playstyle (even if you.like the design) you will get bored. Look at the deck profiles you see on these youtubers and get a sense of what is what.
