Yoko Shimomura is without a doubt one of my favourite composers of all time, I don't know how she makes such majestic themes for every game she works on, she always keeps the general feel of the game, but when you hear one of her themes, you know she wrote that. But what's even more amazing is you Jonny: how you convert all the violins, all the pianos, all the heavy and tragic sounds into an energic metal is something still unmached in the world of remixing. Keep it up, I'll always be here cheering for you!

I never clicked on a notification so quickly! Chain of Memories is my favorite of the side games/spin offs, I love how it forces you to pay attention to your card deck and the enemy cards to break their attacks and sleights with your own! This badass song makes the game that much better! Chain of Memories also hits you with concepts that rest of the series didn't even attempt to try again *>What does it mean to be real* *>Even if memories are fake, are the feelings still real?* *>Sora gettting so mad that he literally hates Larxene and running off on his own* *>Memories able to be tampered, rearranged and constructed to form homunculus* *>Riku being able to smell darkness* *Looking back it was a pretty good follow up to KH1 despite retreading almost every disney world and being locked into the card world.*

I mean, 358/2 Days was all about delivering on the other half of that equation, centered all around people who "aren't real," starring one of those homunculi as one of the main characters, Sora's edgier Nobody getting pissed at the Organization in its entirety, memories getting messed with via the death of said homunculus but the feelings living on after the fact... ... And Riku leveling up from just smelling darkness to getting a dark-powered makeover, complete with his STANDO-DA. (Perhaps the prequel to KH3's dark-powered haircut?) Days toyed with those concepts too. Beyond that, agreed though, definitely.

Oh wowowow, Sasukeshika inspired my love for KH metal remixes back in the early YT days, and their Xion battle remix is super beloved to this day, but KH metal is so scarce. What I'm tryna say is we need more KH metal on KZbin. Thank you, Jonny. I’ve been waiting so long for this!! Kingdom Hearts is my absolute favorite game series. It has some of the greatest music in gaming - Yoko Shimomura is a GOD - and this has always been my favorite VGM cover channel, so this is a match made in heaven for me! The level of care and attention to detail you put in your songs always astounds me and I knew you’d be able to produce some amazing work with the Kingdom Hearts OST, and I was not disappointed! 🤩 Astounding work as always (and that sprite work??? 👌👌👌). Also the Simple and Clean acoustic at the end 🥺 Hats off to you Jonny and everyone else involved in this project. Can’t wait to hear the next KH track! There’s still so many more great songs you could do that deserve that special GaMetal touch! What I really like about Jonny'a music is how he uses more intruments besides the standard rock instruments like guitar and drums. It really sets him apart from other metal coverists and it really helps to keep the dna of what makes the track great, while still putting it into a new genre. Also, those acoustic guitar covers and the end a amazing. I wish there was a way to listen to full versions of them.
