That is some top drawer gamesmanship. How you allowed yourself to be talked out of your own game plan to try and drive the green on 17. Hats off to Matt for that quality piece of psychology!

I play a similar round type on a Par3 course with some friends, only difference is we play 18 and just reset if you go through all 14 clubs. Started doing it just to goof around but has really turned into a great training system for shotmaking and strategy. Forces you to change your grip, stance, tempo, etc. in order to make a shot happen with different clubs. Great stuff, Rick!

How much will we all appreciate this game after the lockdown. 9 holes with a half set now would be heaven .
@tiborbaranyai61184 жыл бұрын
I thought it was a nice little competition! The only rule I would change / add would be that the person who actually puts away the ball (into the hole)on any of the approach shots onto or around the green, would get a club back of his choice! This way the players are encouraged to try to go for the holes while approaching the green. I know that the probability of holing from a distance is slim in some cases, but if it happens, the player is rewarded with a club back into his bag making the game even more interesting!
