That 60 Pontiac has a cool body style. After doing a few LS swaps in old GM vehicles I have found that it is a money saver (& safer to drive) to go ahead and upgrade the front suspension, steering & brakes first and do away with the heavy stock cross member. I've also noticed the older the vehicle the more work & $ is required, but I hate vehicles with plastic interior.

Those jump packs are made by JNC and can be found for around $150. That one looks to be the JNC4000.

Great video! I heard the truck harmonic balancer works with the LS 1 waterpump. Do you notice any difference from using truck truck harmonic balancer from the Camaro?

Fellow 🇨🇦 here...I have a question steve..love this Vid..putting a LS6 swap in my 60 X Frame wagon... I'm buying some red fuel rail covers BUT can not find the factory push pins that go on the coil packs(5 of them) what do you use???? Also I have most of the c5 stuff like you....can I use a truck idler pulley???? Cant seem to get a straight answer.

Thanks for quick response..I'm copying you and using c5 accesorys.. although Alternator going to cost more than I planned...🤷‍♂️ I'm in Victoria and have tried 2 GM dealerships and NO one can figure out push pins or part number... I'll check Rock for tensioner.. I'm using ls6 manny also..

Camped many a time with kids in "Gordon bay" 😀.. yes alternators same but decided to use original c5 accessory bracket...reasonably priced.. but I gather the clocking on the Vette alternator bolt holes is Vette specific...so might have shot myself in the foot..lol.
