The 15 Most Powerful Sonic Heroes Ranked! (IDW)

I had a fun time making the villains list last time, so it was great to do one for the heroes of the Sonic universe! Just remember this is just my personal opinion and meant to be fun! I hope you all enjoy :)

This is an interesting list due to the fact that it isn't taking into account just power but instead also taking into account other aspects from the characters that may bring them down significantly. Sonic is in the top list, not because he's the strongest, but because he has the power and the will of character to back up his talk, Same with tails.

Everyone saying Tails should be lower, but if you turned Tails into a villain he would 100% be on Eggman level's of danger (Maybe even more as he can access a super form, unlike Eggman)

What a shame that Big the Cat is barely even in IDW, a massive downgrade from Archie version where he was arguably top 10 strongest...

Hopefully as time goes on we will see Big more in the Comics. IDW Sonic is still very new compared to the long run that Archie had 😁

@@SonicTheory96 True, but i liked his Archie version a lot i mean the motherfucker stopped a SPIN DASH from Silver Sonic (who btw is like 3 times bigger than him) with BARE HANDS and then there's his IDW version who made his debut already as a zombot and i guess knocked out some zombots with his fishing rod on the 2020 annual but that's it. Like you said, i hope he gets more time to shine in the future!

Personally, I'd put Shadow in #2 and Tails in #3. This is because, as mentioned in the video, Shadow has incredible capabilities. Taking down Super Neo Metal Sonic by himself when Knuckles and Sonic with their combined skills couldn't stop him and failed badly. When Shadow fought Sonic, he was able to counter some of his moves (although Sonic was distracted talking to Shadow, so this isn't exactly valid.) Another great point mentioned in the video is that if Shadow learned to cooperate with others more and put his pride aside, he could be way deadlier. If he were to do this, I believe he could finally be on par if not surpassing Sonic.

You're right but sonic also took down a super form once and shadow just smacked with a chaos spear while he was distracted in such a place that he snapped out of his super form and sonic is the embodiment of the chaos force so he's holds back a lot too.

Cream above charmy (She had her on solo outing in the advanced games and she battled a zeti and did well) Gemeral needs to be way higher He was a match for sonic in the comics and in the guys and fought to a stand still with omega and he beat a zeti Idk why you didn’t include omega if you included rouge and shadow But omega would be up there Tails is way to high but I can see why you did it but nah fails is Lowkey fodder 15. Crème 14. Vector 13. Tangle 12. Amy 11. Whisper 10. Tails 9. Rouge 8. Espio 7. Gmeral 6. Omega 5. Knuckles 4. Blaze 3. Silver 2. Sonic 1. Shadow Since games are cannon you can jus take feats from there Sonic=>shadow but without inhibitor rings Shadow wins

Raw power isn't everything, even IDW Eggman once admitted that he could easily kill Sonic with hidden explosives if he wanted to, but he doesn't want that, he prefers to face Sonic head on to prove his superiority.
