Hi there, nice construction, great detail ! At 8:56 when you try both 10m and 15m you say trying a different feed point arrangement, can you please explain it a little bit? I have seen for 17 and 12m they use a small 75 coax between the driven elements and then they feed the 12m element with 50Ω coax. 73 DE SV2TCB

Its as you explain how I will try but using 50 ohm on the small bit. Maybe I need to use 75ohm.

Hi Colin great work. I just found this Video after recently building a 10mtr Moxon almost the same as yours although mine is not portable, Mine uses plastic corner pieces and a 3d printed centre hub, I found it to be a bit flimsy and added paracord supports to keep the shape as you have. It tunes really well and I have been having a blast with it with the recent excellent conditions on 10mtrs . I too had thought about adding a 12 or 15mtr element along with a 6 mtr element on the same frame but feared the interaction you have experienced, have you managed to solve this ??. Ive not tried yet but I think I will run separate coax feeds down the pole and have a relay coax switch at the base with one feedline back to the shack...

I've thought about this a lot and I feel the Moxon is best as a mono band antenna. Multibanding it is a lot of work. I'm currently building my Hexbeam for 20 through 10 but when I see the size of the 15m section upwards its very small. To this end I think I will make a small Hexbeam that will cover 15, 12, 10 and 6m. Single feedpoint and fed in the centre which keeps things simpler. Yes it will marginally be down on a monoband Moxon but geting 4 bands is a huge benefit.

Probably the best to get a better SWR would be, to get rid of all the metal on the tent poles. Like your center piece. Is there a video on how to build?? 73 HB3XBL 👍🇨🇭
