He's mid-flight with Kimimaro who's gaining the upper hand, calls time-out to take his medicine just before a likely killing blow, and Kimimaro...waits?! I get the character reason behind Kimimaro allowing it, being dependent on medicine to fulfil a purpose. It just still strikes me as funny seeing this dude who's fully intent on turning Lee into a Konoha Kebab, stopping mid-attack so Lee can medicate before getting ruined

it's because these characters have funny moments that make me like them a lot Hashirama or hell even Madara for example when you think of these two you'd normally think of two guys with no nonsense they just do their jobs that's it yet we see that hashirama gets easily depressed and can just laugh off things like nothing's wrong (even though there is) and madara the ghost of the uchiha clan get's uncomfortable when someone is standing behind him so much so that he can't even pee in peace like LOL WTF? but that just means that their human their not perfect and I like that about them

The 1000 years of pain is a very standard childhood prank in Japan called the "kancho". Every kids knows it and does it, and it would be something they recognise and relate to. The contrast of the fact its a common kids prank thing being used seriously, and causing major damage is a layer to the humour beyond the bum poke that non-japanese would register.

Thousand Years of Death is my absolute favorite jutsu in the entire series. Kakashi took this joke jutsu and did it so seriously that Naruto had it rattling around in his brain for months. And then he took the first chance he saw to implement it for real on Gaara. Fuckin amazing.

The scene that I thought was super hilarious was when Konohamaru shows Naruto,the rasengan, but he transforms into a pretty girl to do it. The shocked faces of Captain Yamato and Kakashi sensei is hilarious. There is a scene where Killer B is mad and says something hilarious to either the eight tails or Naruto. I can’t remember what it was, but i just remember that it blindsided me because I was not expecting it especially in a kids show. Naruto defeating the 4th Hokage with sexy jutsu; Hiruzen just laying on the floor in a pool of nose blood. Naruto farting in poor Kiba’s face. Farting on that bug that can help find Sasuke which pisses off Sakura which causes Naruto to hide, but then we see a cute blonde girl with pigtails just casually walking in the middle of a busy street who Sakura identifies right away as Naruto and just beats the crap out of him.

Yeah like I basically loved all Episodes where everyone, especially Team 7, got a little silly and careless sometimes. Especially in terms of Sasuke, it was a very fresh expirience seeing him actually being a kid and having fun with his fellow teammates despite his massive trauma and all the shit right there to come. Sakura making fun of Naruto for being an orphan is part of her character arc. She is oblivious to how little struggle she has faced throughout her life, so she can’t comprehend that despite all of his hardships, Naruto never did anyone wrong with malicious intent. Also, she is basically being a brat because she is inadvertently making fun of a lot of people that are orphans, including her beloved Sasuke. It makes sense for a 10 y/o spoiled kid to make fun of dumb things.

The Naruto related moment that made me laugh the most is actually from the movie Bonds. Near the end, the Sky Village bad guy fuses with the Zero Tails (the movie's monster) and fights Naruto and Sasuke aboard his floating fortress, which by that point is flying aimlessly. To flex his power, he unleashes an attack stronger than a Bijudama; thing is, out of all the possible places said attack could land on... It vaporized his own troops
