THE 1795-6 JULIEN FEDON REBELLION of GRENADA (A history and hike to his campsite)

This video is from the summer of 2023 when my family and I hiked up the Julien Fedon Camp mountain. Julien Fedon was a mulatto planter in Grenada in the 1790s, who led a rebellion against the British colonial government by leading thousands of Free People of Color and self-emancipated Africans in a fight against the government. This rebellion lasted almost a year and a half and resulted in the freedom fighters taking over the entire island of Grenada aside from St. George's and destroying the sugar enterprise of the colony.
