He went to Greco-Bactrian Kingdom region and learned Buddhism. Took points from it and founded Christianity, just like how Muhammad founded Islam from Christianity & Judaism. Or the rest of the hundreds of new religions founded in the 1800s and early 1900s

It might simply be a clever reverse-psychological trick by which believing there are "missing years" subtley makes the reader put extra attention towards the rest of the story, giving it more substance than it actually has... a bit like assuming a gap on a book shelf means there is a book missing when there never was one there in the first place, it's just a gap.

There’s no missing years. The gap between His childhood and ministry is non essential to the story. His ministry began at age 30, the age of male respectability in the Jewish world at the time. He was a seemingly normal Jewish young man before that. This is evident by the Gospel accounts of his siblings and other family members not believing he was the Messiah. His ministry as the Christ began after his first recorded miracle at the wedding. His brothers did not believe in Him until after the resurrection.

it is even said that he is seen in buddhist monestry which is clamed to written in buddhist manuscript he might have set journey in Eastern side n learned teaching from buddhist monk about healing meditation so bible didn't want to reveal this to world so intentionally skipped his 18 years of his journey i guess
