I'm curious: were there others in his family tree that had mental illness? I'm sure he was mentally ill and should not be allowed to be in society due to his psychotic rampages, but there is some science that says it can be genetic. Maybe not his mother or father, but a grandfather or grandmother could have been psychotic. Thank you for the documentary. It was very interesting.

It's quite difficult in my country (Poland) to find documents on this subject, because back then it was a big taboo to be considered a so-called "crazy". The times of war in the times of his parents and grandparents also contributed to the loss of a large number of documents. The biggest reason, however, is still the stigma of the time about mental illness, even today, in smaller villages, some families go out of their way to prevent their neighbors from even knowing about depression in the family. 😮‍💨

As a species, human beings are the worst. People will hurt each other physically, mentally and emotionally. People kill for no reason or horrible reasons. We are taking ourselves and each other out at an alarming rate. About this story; I had one sibling, my older brother. My earliest memory of him was him trying to kill me, I was about four. Years later, after leaving my therapist's office, I went to my mother and told her about it. She was not surprised at all. She told he started that when I was brought home from the hospital. All my childhood he was a sadist, evil, violent person. I endured beatings, and all manner of torture. As adults he was always in and out of prison, for violent crimes. I truly believe he's killed people and never been caught. He's absolutely capable of it. We have no communication, no relationship. A garbage individual...😐
