so everything is just a coincidence? I don't think so. Everybody reacts differently, not everybody is the same. Trauma doesn't work the same in all people. Nobody is born eviil. Even people who are born with psychopathy can learn to function normally in society if they had a good upbringing, there are some exceptions but most are related to chaotic family life. Many people end up mentally ill because of childhood abuse even if they don't turn into serial killers, mental illness can be incapacitating and that's bad enough. Don't be so close -minded. If you turn out ok good for you, but does not work the same for everybody. The message is take care of children and not mistreat them, do not have children if you don't really want them in order to prevent this.

So, I know what it's like to know that something is wrong and not being able to control it. It's almost like being a voyeur in your own body. Thank God I have a good head on my shoulders and have learned to control my anger a lot more than I could when I was a child. But some people just don't have the switch to turn it off. It's a literal chemical imbalance in the brain. It's not an excuse, what he did was fucking disgusting regardless and deserves to die. But thats why these kinds of people are so hard to understand. Being introverted in itself is not dangerous or even bad much less a reason someone turns into a murderer. There have been plenty outgoing and gregarious serial killers. It’s really disappointing to me when shows like this feed into misinformation and their “experts” immediately lose all credibility. In a different one of this series they acted like ADHD was a dangerous mental disorder that caused someone to murder. These little facets that millions of other people have are not what makes a murderer a murderer, it’s what they’re missing.

Television psychologists tend to embody the very worst parts of psychology. They routinely make claims that are non-falsifiable AT BEST as if they are proven fact. When have you ever heard one say "it seems to me" or "probably" when they declare something about the killer's motive that is news to the killer too. Umm, how is it possible to know for a fact it's true since you CAN'T collect evidence for the "secret subconscious reason" (that isn't the same as another psychologist you ask) by questioning the killer 🙄

The worse serial killer that made stomach turn was the lair of serial killers, Leonard lake and some Asian guy from the uk. They recorded themselves in 83-86 had 25-35 victims only able to identify 11 due to how intelligent they were in disposing bodies. Had a rural cabin in California. Kidnapped, raped, tortured, cannibalized, mangled and murdered their victims. Everyone believes including me that the ex wife who’s fam owned the cabin which she frequented and went to “clean up” before they searched the place although they told her not to visit the cabin. Oh and she helped the second serial Killer escape to Canada and only told the cops after she secured total immunity with a lawyer. They kidnapped families would rape the mother infront of the husband and child. Take the husband and child out of the cabin murder them come back inside where they chained up the women and told them they had to be sex slaves and give them hope that they would see their child and husbands again if they followed the rules. One occasion they murdered the infant infront the mother and in another which a clips of these horrendous videos were released including this one, was they promised a mother the above and they killed her baby and fed it to her unknowingly. I have never heard a story so graphic, sadistic, cruel and utterly horrific. And to see some of these clips really is disgusting and dark. I really believe that this case isn’t that well known when it comes to serial killers based on how horrendous it is, it doesn’t provoke any interest because of the level of sadism.

Leonard Lake & Charles Ng are actually fairly well known in the US. There are many vlogs about them on You Tube, a book titled, "Die for Me," & plenty of TV shows about them when it was happening. I lived in Southern Cal at that time. It wasn't covered like Richard Ramirez, or some others because the bodies were disposed of. It wasn't until the entire case was broken open that the level of depravity was known. No one knew about them until they got caught. There were mistakes made: Lake committing suicide with a cyanide capsule while in custody, the ex-wife destroying evidence before the police searched the premises, and Ng's escape & subsequent abuse of the legal system for decades. But again, when Lake was taken into custody, none of the officers suspected any of them of serial torture, sexual assault, murder, infanticide, cannibalism, etc. If memory serves it was possession of a stolen vehicle/property that Lake was taken into custody for. It was a horrific, brutal series of crimes that occurred when many prolific serial killers were active. Those that left a mutilated corpse on display got the attention then. Also, there was no internet, so if the media chose not to cover it, information was difficult to come by for the general public. And believe me, at that time there was no shortage of brutal psychopaths for journalists to report on. The case has both fascinated & disgusted me, people like this make we wish we had medieval torture chambers still in use & public executions. Prison, suicide, & lethal injection are WAY too good for these sick fckers. And if memory serves, the ex-wife got off clean since they needed her testimony to deal with all of Ng's frivolous objections. I think Ng sued the California Bureau of Prisons for anything & everything, to delay his execution. I watched some of Lake's videotapes that are posted on YT. You've got to have an awfully strong stomach & feel secure in your surroundings to watch them actually brutalize and torture their victims. Victims would ask, "Why?" & get "Because we hate you." for a response while being tortured. Disgusting, inhuman behavior. I know Vietnam vets MAY have been exposed to women in street clothes using bombs disguised as infants to massacre & mutilate them & fellow soldiers, but it doesn't excuse this type of behavior after you return home from the war.

@johnspence9718
@johnspence9718 Жыл бұрын
@@chab1rd155 short response - yes, no, yes, yes. HAHA. I'm not an expert & am working from memory. I assume NG is still alive since while California has the death penalty, there is a moratorium on executions. So no one on death row in California is being executed. I don't recall seeing anything on his death by natural causes or inmate retribution (that's my hope.) IMHO, all three of em deserve to be tortured to death. But for as depraved as they are, they are also intelligent & fairly well educated. You're right NG did escape to Canada with the ex-wife's help. They wouldn't extradite him because he was facing the death penalty. Many countries with extradition treaties with the USA will not extradite someone facing the death penalty, IF they don't have the death penalty in their country. The ex-wife was a willing participant but used the legal system to work an unbelievable plea deal. I think the worst they got her on was "harboring a fugitive," or something along those lines since she helped NG escape. But she got off of the capital charges, kidnapping, torture, sex aslt, & murder. Lake was dead, NG was on the run in Canada. The videos, drawings, and notebooks hadn't been discovered yet. Physical evidence was plentiful. But lawyers know juries prefer eyewitness testimony. Unfortunately, I think some prosecutors will charge an accomplice with a lesser crime for their eyewitness testimony of truly heinous & horrific acts. Because that is what makes headlnes, secures book deals, TV (or internet) interviews, and therefore advances legal & political careers enriching them in the process. They'll argue that it was needed to guarantee a conviction, but the fact that woman, an actual baby killer, had a single free day after being caught is disgraceful. Apologies for my ranting. I'm getting old & am fed-up with corrupt behavior of those supposed to protect & serve us. I think as of today,: Lake died - suicide by cyanide poisoning while in custody, prior to any convictions, Ng is rotting in a California prison, where I hope he is raped & beaten daily by other convicts & guards (but probably not), and the ex-wife is actually free, on parole I believe. That vile, twisted, little btch had the audacity to sue the State of Ca & the Bureau of Prisons for poor food quality. This is a guy who made his victims eat: cat food, dog food, poison, seminal fluid, human excrement, & human flesh. I'd like to put him on a strict diet of broken glass. Ng & her would be in old age, so it's possible they're dead. I'm sure you could find out. Try searching YT for: "The Boneyard" or "Lake Ng Videos" if you want to see them discuss & actually torture a victim. Do it quickly, before they're taken down. The images are censored with blurring, but you can tell what's happening. The sound of the voices disgust me. Lake's voice is completely flat, no affect at all. Ng was clearly excited. The ex-wife was enjoying the sexual sadistic power she had over Lake & the victims. And the victims ? confused & horrified. Don't watch that stuff alone at night, and I always try to perform a random act of kindness to a stranger as penance for reading or watching this stuff.

1. Abuse of animals MUST be treated as a serious crime, with both a mandatory jail sentence as well as psych evaluation and possible commitment. Lengthy ones for both. Serial killers are right out on display, but until this happens, people will just keep dying. And 2. Abusive parents who have grown a serial killer MUST be prosecuted. DONT CARE how long its been. Youve abused him? Oh and these other people knew but openly and loudly refused to do anything about it? Jail for the abusers, fines or a sentence for the rest. All too often cowards do nothing and then speak about it years later as if *theyre* the victim. No. You, the full functioning adult, looked the other way while the defenseless child or children have been brutalized. Youre an accomplice, that must be prosecuted.

A couple of months ago, we had a case about 1½ hour from my town, where a cat was found by kind ppl at a crossroad and immidiately taken to the local vet. He had strips around his mouth, so he couldnt eat or drink, and around his front paws, tying them together, so he could barely hobble, and tied so tightly, the vet wasnt sure the first couple of days, if she could save the paws, but thankfully did. The poor cat aside from dehydration and hunger and the strips had also been clearly tortured, and he had to have half the tail amputated and nursed back, as the vet estimated, he had been left in that condition for up to a week with no food or water and hardly able to move, until he was finally found. A few days later the local police announced, that they had found the culprit. It was a young teen boy, who had admitted to it, but due to his age he had been turned over to social services, as hes too young to go to criminal court. I just really really hope, that the cops have taken a note of that boy and keeps an eye on him in future, coz social services can only track him and keep taps on him, until hes 18.

It’s impossible to believe that someone’s father would do such terrible and unspeakable things to her. I wanted to die when I found out, I wanted to kill myself but then she would’ve been left with him. It’s easy to sit back and say this or that about things you havent been through. An idiot with low IQ, lonely, bad childhood, outcast who definitely killed one person and so will be locked up…and then is wined and dined by cops and driven all over the place and prodded or “given the chance” to confess to this and that crime. They didn’t seem to go full ham like with Henry, where they had him confessing to hundreds of murders, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that problem cold cases were pinned on this guy. Side note, the lead detective has a badass name.

How can they say he was evil when he was clearly made into what he became by unloving and uncaring parents and a cruel world.? He was not evil he was made. People should do better at being parents. If you suck, don’t have kids. If you can’t afford 11 children, don’t have kids. And humans should treat one another with decency and respect. I bet if we did we would have a lot less men who turn to killing. We need to place some of the blame where it rightly belongs.

@@georgeelmerdenbrough6906 A big hole in ur theory - why would the police have him confess to murders, they already had some1 convicted for? And where do u get the claim, that he didnt recall proper places or M/O? The cop said, he had a photographics memory, the only 1s, where he couldnt say, were, if the area had been completely changed, like from a forest to buildings everywhere. And the cop did say, they took him to various crime scenes, and then he would say, if he had been there, or if he had NOT been there - or if he couldnt say, which were all, where the scene was greatly changed. So how do u jump straight to "serial confessor", lead by police to confess? Including, again, to murders, they had already come1 convicted for and marked as solved.

When there's multiple kids in your family and no attention and no money you really do grow up thinking you don't matter you're just one of millions don't mean anything you're insignificant and aren't going to go anywhere in life nobody has your back nobody's teaching you how to survive in the real world because of this I never finished school never learned how to get a job had severe mental issues ETC I'm so glad I didn't turn out like this horrible guy because that could have easily happened with my upbringing especially when I had to be homeless living on the street and using drugs and whatnot

Poor excuse for being irresponsible, stupid, abusive parents. They needed to stop having children and there are methods of birth control that have been around for centuries. Not having sex is the most reliable. Also, irresponsible and stupid people continue to exist and to have children that they are unable to look after financially, emotionally and in every other way. Stupid has existed as long as humans have existed, unfortunately.
