I thought the same.thing.. The way it's the sung in past tense...it's a beautiful song. I too played it over and over, at least 25 times today. This single.actually came out the week before. I like to think that it's a nostalgia thing though. Matt and Co. we're in their late teens when they started writing songs. Now they are older and this is looking back at their beginnings. I lived in a boarding school when I was high schoolers in 2016. I lived in a dormitory with my friends. We lived together, we tried our best to understand each other tho at that time we were so young. I supposed to live there with my roommates for 3 years, but in the 2nd year I was diagnosed with tuberculosis and I had to move. Now every time I listen to this song.
