I'm so glad he said his love of black music. It's nice being so into 90s R&B then coming full circle to a band that loves the same type of music you do and then they create this music with all of these open influences and they do it well. They don't steal, they don't say they are new, they just branch off and add a different dimension to something we all already know and love. This is how I love my modern music. I can't get out of the past so I need musicians who can't either haha.
