i can’t be the only one who thinks this. is bungo stray dogs and jjk not extremely similar. a main character that has a power sealed inside of them that they hate and villains come after them because of the power. they have an op mentor and ppl in real life simp over. the main character meets and antagonist that is similar but different than them and have to look at themselves different. the mentor gets sealed away for a while of the series and so much more. i’m not trying to discredit either show but just wanted to point it out.

I loved how there were so many more grown ass women main characters in 90's anime. We only get side characters these days. Maybe there will be revival since there are so many regular middle aged joe animes coming out. I loved a show like this now with the main character not being a 15 year old.

Sadly, Jujutsu Kaisen lost me in season 2 after about the 10th episode of Yuuji was being tortured by a trauma conga line of BS and worse, including an ENTIRE EPISODE of what should have been a 30 second ROFLSTOMP just to make him feel worse, and THEN it becomes just another "The villain got plot armor so he can win" show. Also, Gojo went STUPID just so the plot could happen. So... yeah. The first season is GREAT, but the second season loses the plot.

Titles like that 100% rumpled the panties of a bunch of JJK junkies. I personally haven't seen very much of the show. The aspects that I found the coolest seemed like just set dressing for big fights and cool moves which I have no issue with at all just personally wasn't for me and I ended up finding dark gathering and after that mushashi looking for an anime that dives deeper into its lore than it's fights. This anime though looks like something i would really like and can't wait to check it out. Love that 90s aanimefeel you just can't find anywhere else.
