The Bell Witch was a pretty impressive haunting. The spirit did some reportedly very sentient things. The events supposedly starting in 1817. There is controversy there to, but it is still very spooky.

Have you ever wondered when it all started and why? Why ghosts came out to people with good and bad intentions, and why it even started? Then people got spiritual abilities, we started to hear about mediums and everything.. like these were abilities hidden inside people waiting for these events to happen. But why these events started at first place? How did it happen? Maybe they were always with us, but not as strongly..but then what made them to become stronger? Or maybe people just didn't talk about it for some reasons..but then-why? Did they know the answers? Maybe they were too much to handle for ordinary people back then and then ghosts came too strong to hide it? It's like they always have some purpose and their own thing to do. Passing messages, scaring people etc..

+Char Cross I recommend you read/look up The Poltergeist Prince of London. It's similar to this and Gef the Mongoose in that it was a poltergeist that made themselves known publicly. It happened in the 50s I believe!

It reminds me of a game I played with my boyfriend We were playing this Victorian era supernatural rpg and our characters had come to this seemingly abandoned house. We go inside and hear knocking. He knocks "tap tap" and there's a "tap tap" response. For every tap tap, there's a reply. Then he does the "shave and a haircut" and the response comes again "tap tap." My boyfriend exclaims "They're intelligent!" and my character (in a goofy German accent) says "Ze ver doink zat anyvey!" That's become our joke now, anytime we hear someone knock like that.

I didn't see anyone else comment this, but did anyone notice after she did the part of saying how the girls were snapping, & snapping her fingers, she stopped snapping, said all of a sudden, took a pause & you clearly hear a snap...but it wasn't Kat this time.
