@@IamAfrikan hmmmmmm....does ajaokuta ve gas...I believe the gas originated from somewhere around Delta state,hence nnpc should be included it first b4 ajaokuta.Don't u think so,just saying.

@@oparahugochukwu6548 your point makes a lot of sense. I think this is part of the effort to transport gas to other part of the country especially the North. I believe the southern part already have better pipeline infrastructure than the north and Ajaokuta is strategic location. You are correct, gas is not origated from Ajaokuta. it originates from the south especially Niger Delta. Ajaokua, while the steel company isn't properly functioning, it's still has better industrial infrastructure than other areas in the region. i believe there is an existing infrastructure that can get the gas to Ajaokuta. I think this is also part of the Trans Nigeria Gas Pipeline which is part of the larger trans sahara project that will transport gas to Europe from Southern part of Nigeria. The problem I will have with transporting to Europe will be if we don't make effort for us to first use the gas internally before transporting oversea. We should use at home first and then sell the excess.
