My daughter has special needs as well (Special Needs = the closest you can get to an actual heavenly angel down here on earth, God's messengers for sure). She doesn't watch the videos with me, but she sure does enjoy all the different meals I make from them! Am making this (Italian salad) for our Super Bowl 🏈 party.

I’m Italian but the Greek pasta salad sounds better to me because I love Feta and dill. I also love Mozzarella but I find it bland in a salad. Sun dried tomatoes are better than fresh unless they’re in season. So sweet. Love your channel!

lol growing up, pasta salad was the only kind of "salad" my mom could get me to eat. I made the sun dried tomato one the other day for a pot-luck and damn it got devoured fast, even the kids at that party liked it. Thanks again for all these vids!

Best if you have your ow grapevines and you pick your own grape leaves. Trisk is to picl them by June 15th before they become leathery and bitter. Blanche them and place them in ziplock containers and freeze them. Then thaw them out to use as youwish.

Some Feedback: My family member were literally fighting over the Greek pasta salad. I threw all the dressing ingredients in a blender. It actually made it sort of like a whipped mayo consistency. Flavor will be really strong when you are tasting it, but that is perfect. After it sits for a few hours or the next day the flavors mellow a ton, so keep that in mind when seasoning.

Two great salads! I just want to add: If you're not in NY, where theres an abundance of shops selling ethnic foods, try finding a middle eastern or near eastern market. They generally carry feta, that theyll cut for you in the weight you want on demand. You can often ask them for a taste before you buy. I've found the Bulgarian and the French fetas to be the creamiest and most delicious. (And...shhh...dont tell anyone that I said that, because I'm GREEK! 😉)

What two fabulous salads. You bring either to a BBQ and you will be the star of the show. Good quality feta should be barrel aged. The number one feta in Greece is a brand called “Dodoni”. I buy that all the time and is an excellent standard feta. Dodoni also do barrel aged feta but there are many barrel aged feta producers out there. I live in the UK and the local supermarkets here sell their own label barrel aged feta (made in Greece of course). I’m sure American supermarkets would do the same.
