Yo bro I just wanted to hop on here and tell you this video is great. I recently switched to 1440p with my 3070 and the 5800x3d and was kinda struggling with fps a little bit. I followed this whole video to a tee plus put on nvidia dlss in game on quality or balanced and got a crazy boost in frames. Was averaging 160s consistently on a scav on customs with nothing open but discord and tarkov, obviously that will lower when i play with friends and am streaming/ watching my friends streams in discord but I definitely gained FPS! Just wanted to let you know I appreciate the video brotha.

Gained me about 20 fps on streets, I did have to turn vsync off though as the frames were still the same but it just felt a little bit choppy, good guide bruvva

For people watching, biggest Tarkov fps boost is gained from CPU either 5800x3d or 7800x3d. As said at the start he is using 5800x3d. Mystery of high fps closed.

You also need to have a more powerful GPU to make it work how he does it, I have the same CPU as him with a 3060 but my frames do not exceed more than a certain amount in certain maps.

@@ToToxD21 if you have AM5 board you should. If you do not you will have to also swap to a DDR5 and all that good stuff

Customs Scav-run test both times using identical game settings- 1) used process lasso and exact ingame and nvidia settings, framewise sitting between 90-130(140+) inside dorms, flucuated massively between them both but the lows of 90 felt smoother than original 90fps which makes no sense. 2) Reset nvidia settings, reset and enabled property settings to before the change and did not use process lasso, fps sat between 95-110(120 inside dorms) conclusion: ran same pathing and same location, hard to tell if all the extra steps are worth doing really, its minimal but does feel somehow smoother on the same fps after following the video, no drastic change tho at all.

i think its because of your cpu mainly, i think most of what you show does very minimalbut some, i think processlasso is helping your cpu, the 3D series blow every other intel etc out of the water so i imagine its that, but no worries, im gonna refollow and still use the settings and test more maps, it did feel smoother to an extent but not massively on the fps side if that makes sense@@IamIMinimann very clear well shown video too, i hope it helps some people :)

The ram cleaner and physical cores does not work. Haven’t worked in several wipes. It works very first raid and that’s it until you close game out open it. So ya have to do it every raid.

Not bad settings. but do keep in mind that disabling smt/hyperthreading with process lasso does NOT work for every cpu. Intels architecture makes it beneficial on 90% of their cpus, while amd's newer architecture has no performance difference, a 2700x, 3600, will get a performance boost. a 5600,5600x-5800x3d/7000 series ryzen will not. Textures being on high can also affect performance due to it forcing ssr on in the settings. You can be running ssr off, textures high, and you will still get water reflections and water puddles from ssr which are some of the most demanding graphical settings in the game. most people should stick to medium.

That was a mistake during the video mate, do it on the actual game, I didn't notice it was the BE whilst recording.

That's crazy, I just turned off V-Sync/ Free-Sync/ G-Sync on my monitor because the launcher kept making my screen go black when I had it on. Is this issue fixed then?

If you do it how I show in the video with the control panel it will only affect Tarkov. The part where I click 'manage 3d settings' and then explain how to add in Tarkov, that will mean it only affects Tarkov not every other game ☺️

Have a 3080 rtx with i7 32gb and I get 60 fps in streets and 80 to 100 in other maps.. this game need a serious optimization.. tried all the guides on youtube, nothing worked, i doubt urs will.. but will watch anyways.. edit: watched and you said what I saw in all the other videos.. nothing worked.. thank you tho !!

The worst FPS ive had is around 75 infront of the Streets mall, looking towards Lexos, 10 mins into the raid. I wanna see what you get then.

I'm not running pmc raids on streets yet as quests aren't for kappa but I'll give one a go tomorrow and see. Obviously that scav raid I was in for about 20 minutes total and then the timer came up as I was walking towards extract and getting 100+ still

@@IamIMinimann yeah, that's the thing. Super late in the raid, there's no PMC's or Scavs so FPS will be higher than start/mid raid. I always test my settings in the most strenuous areas to get a true representation. Also, I'd recommend giving DLSS (Quality setting) a go to get extra FPS on nearly all maps (except Streets). You'll definitely see boosts on Customs and Woods.

Honestly changing settings in Nvidia does nothing. That's your gpu and this game is cpu heavy. Your gpu will be fine regardless.

my game runs alot smoother. i did most of the same settings and the stutters went away. increasing my graphic settings in the game menu seemed to help. i didnt do the proccess lasso thing cause i have a i7 8700k. i think i need all my cores lol

Hey I’m pretty sure you were changing the settings in process lasso, for the Battle eye service. Not EFT.exe. It’s vital the people change priorities on the right exe. The actual eft executable is not the one that has BE, that stands for Battle-Eye. The correct exe just says escapefromtarkov.exe Just thought this would be important to share. Pin this comment

Undervolt your 5600x I used to have it and it was undervolted. Go search up benchmarks and try it out.

Biggest fps boost is from a specific cpu, in this video it is 5800x3d. You could buy that cpu as it is AM4 platform same as your 5600x. Just check if your motherboard supports it.

the game is fcked for some. I run i9-10900k, 3090rtx both overclocked an 32gb of 3600mhz ram. barely reach 130fps on customs. but that's ok, all maps excpt streets run over 100fps which is totally fine. streets starts with 80-90fps and drops to 50fps after 2min feeling like 25fps. literally a slide show for me. impossible to have a gunfight like this...

i just cant with all of these vids **claiming** to increase your FPS, just stop. The solution is only 1, no settings, no nothing will boost your fps from 60 to 180, eft runs on unity, that is all you need to know, you need faster single core CPU + the fastest memory (factoring CAS latency and frequency, DDR5 preferably for the 6ghz speeds) that you can get, nothing else will beat fps boosting by actual hardware upgrade (and the proper one too)

Agreed. Upgrading your hardware is obviously the best way but... If you have a rig that is the top of your budget and then want to get better fps... Change some settings and that'll help. Just saying 'throw more money at it' isn't always possible for people.

@@IamIMinimann Yes, settings might help some people, but the thing i was trying to say was *the actual solution* and its not just "hardware upgrade" but the "proper hardware update", because just because a CPU is more expensive than another CPU it doesnt mean it will beat it at performance on *a unity game*, i am tired of people pretending to know shit and the answer to the universe (not talking about you) while failing to acknowledge the actual FACT at what will actually unconditionally boost the performance of the game, but the main fucking issue is BSG, in reality its ALL THEIR FAULT, modern hardware is so powerful but when that power is wasted on unneeded computing its hard to harness the full potential. Yea sorry for the rant, it was not directly at you, im just tired of all the vids on youtube about tarkov performance and mainly about BSG not giving a fuck about their game
