The $200 Full Frame Lens (Sony 28-70mm Kit Lens Review) [2022]

Kit lenses get a bad rep. In this video, I test the Sony 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens in 4 categories: vlogging, street photography, portraits, and b-roll. I hope to give you insight on whether you should buy the lens, what can do, and what it can't do.

It’s good to have but if you are thinking of getting into more advanced filmmaking you will need to attach filters and it’s not easy to find filters for this lens size. Very good and informative video

Thanks John, I will get the A7 iv kit, what should be my next lens. Oh, and I like Sigma. Sigma seems the closest to Gmaster lens.

Hopefully you got the 24-70mm GM or the 20-70mm G lens.

I went with all prime lens. 20mm 1.2, sigma 50mm 1.4 GM, and 85mm 1.2 . I have upgraded to A7R5, I would like to get the A7CR . The primes with the Clear View Zoom mode works great quality glass and 61mp.
