I really wonder who is going to be out of the US men’s 200m team this year? Since The Olympic Years *only 3 athletes* gets in the team. Not 4. There’s no *Buy* in Olympics years. And if Courtney Lindsey gets in the US 200m team this year, who is he taking out? Well, we all know that he’s not beating Noah Lyles in the 200m. Obviously.

@@robinbauer1975the same as his chances were beating him at World Championships 2022. Anything is possible it’s a.) a hurdle event, and b.) it’s a 4 man conversation for the top spot. Now we have 4 possibilities for 3 medals US-BZ-NW-BVI any of the 4 could take the top spot but someone is getting disappointed this year and that will be the real story for the 400mh. Who do we think that will be?

Now I hope Kenny makes the team for all 3. If not the 100 he could at least push for the mixed 4x400m. If He could out run Boling or Patterson and get places on that team he would have a guaranteed Gold.

There were many great performances at this meet: Bednarek’s 200m PB, Mcleod’s 8.52m long jump (and Tentouglou and Ehammer jumping 8.3), Ceh throwing over 70m, the men’s javelin was a good competition between the top 3, and Dos Santos with his phenomenal 46.8. I don’t tend to have high expectations for diamond leagues still this early in the season, but this really was a treat!

Noah’s 19.31, Erryion’s 19.49, Kenny’s 19.67(New PB), and Courtney’s 19.71. And only 3 athletes gets into the US 200m team, since it’s the Olympic Year. We know Noah, gets number 1 in the US Olympic Trials easily, but for 2nd and 3rd place, it’s pretty much a fight between Kenny, Erryion and Courtney.

Kenny has been my favorite American male runner (Sydney!) with Noah, Michael Norman and Christian Coleman. How can you not like everything about Kenny. Consistency and honorable, this is a really good dude. I just hope he’s able to monetize his efforts.

@@CollingAshford well there are three places, if everything goes by how it looks now Kenny is the favourite and if Courtney first Kenny second and if Lyles first or second, Kenny still third. Fahnbulleh is Liberian, de Grasse is Canadian and Kyree King ain’t catching Kenny. So most probably Kenny is going to Paris. Then considering the final like the three American (still if they not get injured or disqualified or worse banned) plus de Grasse, Fahnbulleh, Tebogo and another, maybe Aaron Brown. So that Kenny still has a shot on bronze or even silver, and maybe who knows with the race of his life he could win. We don’t know we will see. @@AthleticsEditz Yeah I'm always a little off on wind. I remember racing with wind readings in either direction thinking "what"? And knowing it wasn't really what was indicated on the screen because it was either a cross wind or the person operating it simply started it at an inappropriate time. Even having a headwind as you leave the blocks and then "catch up" to a tailwind is possible. And then running the bend with a tailwind but registering as a head. It's so complex with light winds in a stadium that go all over the place. Even running in different lanes makes a difference in stadium swirls.

@@duncanharvey2209 Yeah, you’re right. The way in which the wind is measured means that there’s no way of knowing what the wind at different points of the race is like. That said, we can only go based off of what the reading says, which was -1.5 (or something like that) for Tebogo and Lindsey.

What happened to the teenage super star that was supposed to be beat Usain Bolt times. If he faded away I will just reiterate what I said three years ago by judging his attitude. I said he was not going to live up to expectations. I think it was two years ago as an 18 year old he did a 19.49, the sky seemed to be the limit and he never ran that fast again

You’re right this happens all the time I’m tired of telling people. Remember Boling “almost breaks Usain Bolt’s record “
