Now we have 4 possibilities for 3 medals US-BZ-NW-BVI any of the 4 could take the top spot but someone is getting disappointed this year and that will be the real story for the 400mh. Who do we think that will be?

There were many great performances at this meet: Bednarek’s 200m PB, Mcleod’s 8.52m long jump (and Tentouglou and Ehammer jumping 8.3), Ceh throwing over 70m, the men’s javelin was a good competition between the top 3, and Dos Santos with his phenomenal 46.8. I don’t tend to have high expectations for diamond leagues still this early in the season, but this really was a treat!

Noah’s 19.31, Erryion’s 19.49, Kenny’s 19.67(New PB), and Courtney’s 19.71. And only 3 athletes gets into the US 200m team, since it’s the Olympic Year. We know Noah, gets number 1 in the US Olympic Trials easily, but for 2nd and 3rd place, it’s pretty much a fight between Kenny, Erryion and Courtney.

I think Kenny B has more in the tank. He looked strong down the finish. It's odd to see a world class sprinter stumble the way he did. Simple fix though. Happy for him!

If anything it shows me that he's ready to go faster. Just a small patch up and he could already save a good chunk of time. Combine that with steady improvements in the Olympics and he's competing for gold

I disagree that this race brought a “new” name forward…Kenny has been right there all along…ups and downs, sure, it’s part of being human. Kenny has been my favorite American male runner (Sydney!) with Noah, Michael Norman and Christian Coleman. How can you not like everything about Kenny. Consistency and honorable, this is a really good dude. I just hope he’s able to monetize his efforts.

Kenny B's issue is his arm swing when he gets tired. He starts rotating like a wheel instead of continuing the pump action. He's been doing that for a while now. No idea why his coach hasn't fixed that.

In drag racing. The 1/8 mile basically 2/3ish of the time expected in 1/4. I think a 125 meter race would be the perfect balance for “fastest man alive” to see where the discipline of 60, 100, 200 could actually compete against each other.

Joseph Fahnbulleh needs a lot of work. He either lacks discipline coming out of the blocks or his abilities to drive just aren't there. I think he should turn his focus to the 400m being that he has one of if not the best top end speeds.

Vice Olympic Champion (Tokyo 2020), Vice World Champion (Eugene 2022), Fourth at Budapest World Championships… this year is the year he wins Olympics. He deserves it more than every other athlete. I know Lyles is a killer and Tebogo is behind the edge along with Knighton but if Kenny can handle pressure and be in his top form ever (form in which he is now building himself into) he will win.

@@CollingAshford well there are three places, if everything goes by how it looks now Kenny is the favourite and if Courtney first Kenny second and if Lyles first or second, Kenny still third. Fahnbulleh is Liberian, de Grasse is Canadian and Kyree King ain’t catching Kenny. So most probably Kenny is going to Paris. Then considering the final like the three American (still if they not get injured or disqualified or worse banned) plus de Grasse, Fahnbulleh, Tebogo and another, maybe Aaron Brown. So that Kenny still has a shot on bronze or even silver, and maybe who knows with the race of his life he could win. We don’t know we will see. But the fact that he can join the team is almost 100% sure. What about Knighton? I sincerely don't know!

Notice that Lindsey was slower than the last time when he raced Tebogo(19.71). There will be up and down times for all these athletes. I wouldn't read too much into their times for now. Anything can happen on any given day. However, these guys are all very fast.

@@duncanharvey2209Yes, the altitude made a big difference, but they also had a 1.5m/s headwind in his 19.71 race, which somewhat cancels out the altitude (but not fully).

@@AthleticsEditz Yeah I'm always a little off on wind. I remember racing with wind readings in either direction thinking "what"? And knowing it wasn't really what was indicated on the screen because it was either a cross wind or the person operating it simply started it at an inappropriate time. Even having a headwind as you leave the blocks and then "catch up" to a tailwind is possible. And then running the bend with a tailwind but registering as a head. It's so complex with light winds in a stadium that go all over the place. Even running in different lanes makes a difference in stadium swirls.

@@duncanharvey2209 Yeah, you’re right. The way in which the wind is measured means that there’s no way of knowing what the wind at different points of the race is like. That said, we can only go based off of what the reading says, which was -1.5 (or something like that) for Tebogo and Lindsey.

What happened to the teenage super star that was supposed to be beat Usain Bolt times. If he faded away I will just reiterate what I said three years ago by judging his attitude. I said he was not going to live up to expectations. I think it was two years ago as an 18 year old he did a 19.49, the sky seemed to be the limit and he never ran that fast again
