I owned and Impreza Turbo for years, and test drove a P1.... the P1 was massively quicker in a straight line and great fun to drive.

Back when cars had style and drivability without electronic nannies so you could kick the tail out on a downshift in a corner ,over in in the UK you are very lucky to have so many engineering firms that build these cars up with allot of great features and keep them on the road , here in Canada this car was far and few between , if you find a decent one now your looking well over $50k dollars and usually have hidden issues like blown head gaskets or turbo issues and they don't budge on their price, so I am better off importing one from Japan or Europe and get a better car in the end, great video 👍

That is definitely not a wastegate noise
@mtnman19844 ай бұрын
1:06 calling a blow-off valve a wastegate, as per. Imprezas don't get much better than this.

as a 90s teenager in Australia me and mates all wanted a WRX (pronounced 'reck-see'). Besides the very sleek styling and rally championship wins, the thing that made them so desirable was that thieves used them for smash and grab store robberies. They were the one car that could outrun the big Ford and Holden V8's that they cops drove. and then one fateful year they released the 'new WRX' and it sucked dicks. all of those sleek lines were replaced with rounded lady lines. it was absolutely insane to see a the coolest car on the street become a limp dick ladies car. ...and now subaru is literally the lesbian daily driver of choice.

Turbos kicking in, and the talk of wastegate sound, ehen he means blow off valve. Amateur hour. May as well get my mum to do the video / advert.

Hydraulics are far superior to electric for road feel and feedback. Modern cars are more drag racers than b road excitement. Shame

1:04 turbos? And “lift of you hear the wastegate noise” This clown knows nothing about cars, you’d never say wastegate if youd know anything. Just copying what Clarskon has been saying incorrectly for decades.
