This Phillies team had the “Perfect Collapse.” From winning the WS in 2008 To losing the WS in 2009 To losing the NLCS to my Giants To losing the NLDS vs the Cardinals To failing to make the playoffs until 2022.

Honestly! Said the exact same thing. His presentation, quality, and overall standard of videos is that of a million subscriber creator. At least you and I are here from the beginning and call that he's gonna make a big splash on KZbin. Great channel, and super underrated. I always love finding hidden gems on KZbin. Most of the best creators are those that haven't gotten full recognition for their great content. Most kids are tasteless and like stupid ckickbait channels with mindless content. Intellectuals that put in hard and thorough work to create an excellent product are far more my speed. Peace to you, friend

The 07-10 Phillies were under constant scrutiny about sign stealing. Multiple teams reported them to the league, former Phillies that played for the Mets told the league they had a camera in CF and a buzzer system. Bud Selig did a half ass investigation, they found a non-mlb issued camera but it didn’t go to the dugout so he was like “welp stealing signs is just part of baseball like when my Braves used to steal signs for Eddie matthews and Hank Aaron.” Braves used to have a guy in the scoreboard with binoculars relaying the signs. Selig saved this franchise the embarrassment.

These rumors were never confirmed to be true, and nothing actually ever came of them either, so this seems a bit unfair. Of course the Mets would be the headers of saying they cheated, considering the Mets despised those Phillies teams. Their is no evidence that shows in the 2008 playoffs to suggest they stole any signs. If it were really an actual issue, it would have been a far bigger deal. Sure, their is a possibility they cheated, but most of it was just pure guessing they were cheating by the reports. Nothing truly showed any real cheating happened

Without even watching.....Hamels Hollywood tour and Howard knocking over Lidge at a bad angle and basically damaging his knee during the celebration was the reason for the 2009 shortfall. 2010 they legit ran into a great manager......2011 they were on one leg. That 1 bloody nil game is easily tied in the 9th if Utley has his legs under him. A very unfortunate turn of events, Howard didn't just have heel bursitis.....his Achilles was already angry before that StL series even started.

I don't believe Altuve and a couple others did, it wasn't everyone and I'm a Yankees fan saying this. There's reports that Altuve spoke out against the cheating so I have to put that out there. I will say that every team that's won in the last 35 years at least likely had at least one roids player. Go back to the late 80's and the bash brothers and who knows before that? So PEDs is a lame argument when Tatis just got busted, it's STILL going on. Electronic sign stealing and that special sauce spider tack helped them no doubt. But we have to cease and desist with the hate towards Altuve, a humble guy and human being. Plus it isn't helping, he kills us every time lol. We need a GM who isn't mentally challenged. Kind of insane to call jeter overrated but fits with Yankees hate syndrome.
