The cracking sounds is awesome chuck but have you ever notice the delay when the transmission shifts... especially when you use the Paddel shifter...

Just in normal touring mode there is a delay but put it in Sport it track and get on it the shifts are much faster.

Nice Video once again. Love watching the channel grow and your content become better and better with each upload. Love corvettes but one thing I notice especially when I drove mine is the late response when it comes to shifting with the paddles. Sometimes it baffles me with how long it takes for the upshift. Keep up the great work!

In normal driving there is a delay but in track mode in performance shifting they speed up.

Hi Chuck, nicely done as always. I recently added the GM performance cold air intake to my Z06 and I can now hear my supercharger. Admittely as soon as the exhaust get's loud all you can hear is the exhaust. But for a second or two, it's great to hear it spool up.

My black rims bother me with the brake dust. I will definitely put a ceramic coat on them. I love the pop of the exhaust 👍🏻There is nothing like the Chevy brand. I have a lot of fun with my Camaro SS. I don’t have a garage so I go crazy with cleaning it. I will send you a picture 😎

The coating will definitely help. When it’s time change the pads for ceramic pads will cut the dust down by 75% looking forward to the pics. 👍🏻😎

Hey Chuck, long time brah. I also shift paddle in my 18 GS and man I am not changing my exhaust at all. Exhaust is a beast taking (gun shot)off and downshifting(Peterbilt).Shift paddle to 4 to 5 rpm and hit it just right, sounds amazing...lol People think I modified exhaust, No this is stock.

I spent a year looking for an 11 Z06 3LZ. The one year only X-pipe and single cat C6Z has the most intoxicating sound with an LS7. I find myself driving around with the windows down and decelerating just to hear that music (You know what I mean hahaha). On an unrelated question, is the paint on your car improved over the previous Z06? The Sebring orange I viewed up close looked much better with very little orange peel. If so, hats off to the new paint shop in BG!!

How do you compare the exhaust notes between your z06 and your ZR1? I own a 2016 Z06, and was riding next to a ZR1 the other day, and his sounded reasonably louder than mine... Are there any changes to the exhaust between the two from factory that you know of? His sounded great, and Id like to make mine just a tad bit louder :D

Sounds amazing man 🇺🇸🇺🇸💪🏼💪🏼 Great video. I do agree with you though. Supercharger whine is very minimal for some reason. The ZL1 supercharger noise is easily twice as loud as the Z06 even though they share the LT4. Not sure why they went to extra lengths to cover it up, but I have heard some aftermarket intakes really increase the volume of the supercharger 👌🏼

The ZL1 is perfect, it’s not annoying like the Hellcat but sounds just nasty. That’s why the ZL1 1LE has such an amazing sound with the 6M. If my wife ever says I just want to ride with you I selling the GS and finding a ZL1 1LE. I road in one and it’s all smiles. A little stiff but ohhh boy best 70k car on the market!!

Chuck, is it a bad idea to have an aftermarket blower installed by pros, on my 2017 GS? The are well known, and stand behind the install, but is it a real danger for my warranty? Is it worth it? The tell me they should get close to 650 hp at the wheel.

Adding that will greatly affect your warranty. Wait until the warranty ends before you start doing major mods that affect tuning and major HP gains.

American muscle use to have a nice smooth low throaty grumble when downshifting, and when Rev matching was music to my ears. I guess I'm getting old, and in the minority. Seems most love the snaps, and pops that were adopted from the ricer builds.
