That build is almost exactly what my "second option" would have been. I love red cars so I had it in my head I wanted red/black combo but if the right gray would have come along that would have been it! Great looking car, Chuck and it's great to have you back! Great video! I'm looking forward to the tire discussion as this is going to determine what model to go with. I'm leaning toward more daily driving as opposed to track weekends so 2k for a set of tires on a Grand Sport/Z06 that last 10k miles tops will come into play.

Great learning experience. I love the C7 forever. Now I just Own a white stingray but 2lt adrenaline red 2019. Put tinting in and got those black lug nuts and will get those on next tire rotation. Good work chuck. Newbie John

chuck!! i tell you the clear polycarbonate roof is the best the amount of light it lets in is the best!!!! you realy do need to reconsider !! the carbon fiber leaves the cabin way to dark dark!!

That was great Chuck. That's a very handy and fun website GM has put up. I wish I had your tutorial when I started building my car. But, after building it a thousand times I finally figured it out. The best part was when Rick shocked me by calling and saying he had an allocation for a ZR1 open up but that I needed to order quickly so he didn't lose the allocation, I was ready to roll. I had built it so many times that we had that car ordered in about 15 minutes! Working with Rick is just a great experience. I can’t stress that enough. My ZR1 isn't sitting in my driveway yet, but it will be here soon! Welcome back!!

Hi Chuck. Just one correction. The Chevrolet build website does allow you to choose the standalone carbon ceramic brake option for $7,495 (on screen # 5 Exterior, under the mechanical section) if you don't first choose the Z07 package on the earlier screen. Of course if you do choose the Z07 pkg. on the earlier screen., as you did in the video, then when you get to 'screen # 5 Exterior' the standalone carbon ceramic brake option no longer displays the individual option price of $7,495 & you just see the check marks next to the Z07 option & the Brembo carbon ceramic brakes (included in Package), as you showed in your video.
