Alas I cried so many tears of sorrow when the 2020 "Flying Legends" air show was canceled. As a very proud son of a combat Mustang pilot with the 359th FG and a photojournalist I so looked forward to photographing this fantastic event. Still I completely understand the necessity to keep everyone safe, and I look forward to the 2021 show.

This is for the rich, not the average Joe/Jane that would have to spend $5,000 or more, just to get there and get home. I'm retired and have a decent income but not enough to spend that kind of money on a trip!

The John Craig Dear Sir, I am sorry you live so far away. Indeed we have many international guests and bucket listers who make the pilgrimage from places as far as New Zealand, Sourh Africa, Brazil, Japan, USA ... but the vast majority of our visitors are quite local. The ticket price is cheaper than for a football match or pop concert but what you get is quite exceptional by any standard. I hope we will have the pleasure of you company one day. Kind regards Nick

@ The John Craig That is not entirely true. You have to do crazy things to spend $ 5,000. You don't have to be rich to go to Flying Legends. Ticket price is more than worth it! Last year was my first time, this year I will go again. I recommend it to everyone who is interested in ww2 aircraft 😊
