There’s a new Range Rover in town, and it’s the P400e. What exactly is a P400e? Well, it’s a plug-in hybrid version of land rover’s flagship SUV. Just another option for a vehicle that was already available with a V8 as well as both regular and diesel V6s. More choices are always good, but let’s find out if the PHEV is a better one.

Its funny because 6.9 sec and 15 quarter mile is a respectable range for some cars but big ass trucks like these tend to be faster than that like the v8 models wheww times are changing.

I’m all for environmentally friendly solutions but they shouldve just taken a few more years and come out with an all electric version. A 2.0 4 cylinder in a large 100k luxury suv? No thanks. Uses more fuel than a diesel too when youre not in town going under 30 mph

The frontend looks like a 2001 Saturn or a 2013 Explorer. I would go for the Ford Explorer. Ford trucks go 400,000 to 500,000 miles. Some go even longer. Plus land or Range Rover the only vehicle one rating above Tesla the lowest rated vehicle in the world.

Steve Nelson ford explorer and range rovers are not going to be cross shopped. G wagon is the closest competitor. Porsche cayenne and tesla model x probably are cross shopped with it as well. Buyers of the Explorer sport have a household income on average of 150k, buyers of the range rover have an average household income of more than triple that.

Bryce this isn’t supposed to be the fast one, they make a non-phev v6 with 400hp that does 0-60 in about 6 seconds. They also make a v8 that does 0-60 in about 5 seconds.
