We did one to clarify one thing, we mentioned an upcoming LC-F and after we filmed this video, a couple publications had posted that the rumored LC-F has been cancelled due to the pandemic. It’s twin-turbo V8 will live on but sadly, we probably won’t see the high performance LC anytime 🥺

Exactly my thoughts! What people have always accused Lexus of being boring has always been my Zen when driving my Lex. It feels like I am isolated from the gritty streets of the city in my Lex. And that's how I like it. Although I would love to hear the V-8 sound of the LC on a daily basis also!

Floating on air is so true! I have a 237,000 miles 2006 Lexus ES330 and I’m still blown away EVERY time I drive it how buttery smooth and comfortable it is it’s amazing on road trips. I was so blessed to have it as my first car. I now ALSO have an LS460 which is an amazing piece, but I will never sell my ES.

Awesome video! Lexus is a car you always buy used, IMHO. They never get old, and their technological deficiencies in infotainment is easily and cheaply addressed by the aftermarket. I owned a 2018 Civic Si for about a year, sold it and bought a 2010 IS350 and never looked back. I'm really not a fan of the artificial feel of turbo charged engines, I'm pretty much sticking to Toyota/Lexus. Maybe 10 years from now I will pick up one of these!

It's interesting how you compared this to the Aston and the Bentley, which can easily be double, and possibly triple the price. 911 is gonna be more expensive and the targeted shopper is different, really I think this is its own segment. The 8 convertible is not a direct competitor either for price and trim reasons, the S class convertible is not a direct competitor either for the same reason. I'd say that the 911 is it's the closest competitor, with the overall size and same useless backseats, but whatever, this is quite unique, just like any other similar cars mentioned above. I have never liked lexus before, but I admit this is a very good car.

This is More then just the "best Lexus". This is the best built Japanese car since the Lexus LFA. This is a exotic car without the exotic car price. This is better built then the BMW and competing benz. "Never thought a lexus could sound this good did you ? " Let me introduce you to the V10 LFA sir. This car is much more then a great "Lexus" product. This is a world class coupe. This is one of IF not the best luxury grand tourer ever built. If this had a high performance version there would be no question how epic this car is. The LCF needs to come to market. Lexus has made sexy cars before. The older SC300/400. The Lexus LFA v10. The second generation GS300/400 is very well regarded. The new LS500 is very sexy in the F sport trim and fully kitted it. I feel like you need to stop dropping in your two cents about the Lexus brand and just review the car

As far as the rear traction, this V8 isn't the torquiest, so I think they got the most powerful engine they could attach to this setup with 275s. If this was turbocharged, it would struggle with power delivery. Naturally aspirated, I think they found the sweet spot in power, tire size, and gearing. This wasn't an accident.

I see this as an SL rival not an AmG GT, 911 or Aston Martin rival and I would take the Lexus any day over the current Merc SL.

You guys are 12 years late. Why? Do you think we fell in Love with the IS F back in 2008? Most don’t even know it even exist! The 2Urgse is a hidden gem of an engine! Good on Lexus for carrying this power plant over & sticking it under a beautiful designed coupe.
