Our long-awaited full review on the redesigned 2021 Nissan Rogue is finally here! We did want to clarify pricing, the base Rogue S starts at $25,650. Add $1400 if you want AWD. The Rogue SL FWD in this video stickers for $35,195 with the only option being the SL premium package for $1,320 extra. A fully loaded Rogue Platinum with AWD will top out at just under $39k. For that price, we would like to see Nissan also include cooled front seats and a more powerful turbo or electrified engine option. Thanks for watching everyone!

I’ll be honest I hate when companies and reviewers show only the top grade model. They really don’t sell as much as the much cheaper models and it’s just way more realistic. Most buyers wont know what a heads up display is and won’t also touch the dash to see if it’s soft touch leather. Some of these reviewers are kinda out of touch with reality cause they spend time in much higher priced cars.
@dave_riots4 жыл бұрын

14:11 people don’t hate on the Nissan CVT because it doesn’t feel right, people hate it because it cant make it past 10k miles before needing a complete rebuild. I’m speaking from $4k in personal experience.

And speaking from personal experience, I put 140k miles on my 2012 Max with no issues. So yes the CVT can make it past 10k miles.

@@m1kephenix Thank you. No one talks about how Honda's reliability has gone down the 🚽. I've had 3 Rogues since we love them so much and think they're way better than CR-Vs and RAV4s. Our 2011 has over 100K with ZERO issues aside from regular maintenance. We had a 2014 which we loved but traded up to a loaded platinum package version in 2017. Still running smoothly and NONE of them had ANY issues and we're at 60k miles with the '17. My brother had the first Altima that came with a CVT until well-passed 200K miles, again, with ZERO issues. The only reason he doesn't have it anymore? He was in a serious accident where it got totaled. He walked away unscathed, whereas the other Toyota driver that hit him was hospitalized.

This was a REALLY good, informative video. Your opinions are helpful. You're helping me to narrow the field of 5 SUV's I'm considering. The thing I would change is spray painting that stupid chrome U on the nose black. I gotta say I dislike the panoramic roof thing. I don't need hail breaking what I'm sure is a VERY expensive piece of glass. Why do I need the sun trying to burn my head anyway? I personally would always pass on AWD. I drive on paved flat roads. I don't need more parts going bad for a repair shop to have to fix. Same goes for turbos. Get a bigger engine if you need more power, not a gimmick.

The TWO Rogue vehicles are now about 200k sales behind the Rav4 in 2020 Rav4 sold 430 and Rogue/Rogue Sport was under 230k BUT Rogue did sell 60k in December, so the people seem to like the new model
@mustasheolll20204 жыл бұрын
But are those the 2020 (old body style) or 2021 that was 60k units sold? Well if there’s a sales jump, it could be thanks to the new model, who knows. I have yet to see one on the road, but I like it, it’s a HUGE improvement over the old one that looked like a 2013 car.

Great channel guys, I've watched a ton of your vidz. I've narrowed my 2021 choices to the; Rogue, Rav4, CRV, and the CX5. But now I'm stuck. - While the CX5 has the best body, the infotainment system sucks. - The CRV seems like the obvious choice, but its ugly. - The RAV4 is a top rival, but the infotainment system sucks, and its ugly. - The Rogue is what I want, but I'm concerned about spending $45K on a simple vehicle, when I could get a used Lexus for the same price. Information constipation is what I have right now, do you have any advice?

@@KhrissyDaDon let me give you a review of the car I purchased (2020 Altima SL AWD): acceleration was fine from a stop due to the new CVT engine gearing ratio bring more tuned city driving. There is also the sport mode which keeps the RPMs up for more response. I test drove a Camry and found the engine fishing for gears at moderate acceleration. Honestly didn't test drive the accord, because I was looking for AWD.

I have the 2020 model n a lot of wut u said I rlly agree with n wish they wuld hav incorporated tht in the 2020 especially since they were gonna change the whole dynamic a year later. 2nd generation should've been the perfect introduction to the new 3rd gen line up, it should've had push start n auto as well as the automatic rear tail gate right along with the new gear shifter. The 21's are the same as the current 2024 models. Jus my opinion, great car to hav it's definitely fast enough for me good mpgs, getting use to the cvt but it is wut it is😅 great review brudda!!!!
