I agree. The price and value for the cross over suv class the Rogue beats everyone. The toyota rav4 inside look so cheap even with the top of the line one and the price is more expansive.

I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 210,000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60,000 miles as required in the owner’s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won’t have any problems long term.

Excellent review!. Very honest, professional and detailed. Nissan Rouge S AWD base model price at $25K is all right to me for a 2nd row. For a 3rd row I would rather go for a used 2019-2020 Honda Pilot Elite at $30K-$38K.

@@DriversOnly It's true that many shady dealerships are doing crazy 2-10K markups, but there are plenty of good ones using this as an opportunity to win customers at MSRP. I ordered mine at MSRP. A couple months wait but it's worth it :)

Thanks for this review. I looked at the Nissan this week and loved it but the reviews are terrible. So many engine issues and people really upset with the company. I'll pass on this one, but it is really nice looking inside and out.

Nissan should add the dashboard storage shelf just like the one in Pathfinder & Rav4.

I know this is late, but the "kick to open" liftgate feature works fine. You have to actually kick, not hold your foot there. If you hold your foot there it doesn't work.

I don't recall you saying if it has adaptive cruise control. I didn't see the controls on the steering wheel. To me that's more important than ventilated seats being missing.

It does seem like that Nissan is making itself great again. They are finally giving consumers what they want. Now that Carlos Ghosen has shipped himself away in a suitcase they can finally stop the cost-cutting. I will need to wait for a couple of years to see if they improved mechanically.

You don't be stingy on the compartment space on the inside nissan. The wheels foot sensor at the back and tech features are what you cut back on not basic fundamentals like space compartment. Very stingy and silly.

pretty isn't everything.... I wonder if Nissan USA is going to let customers hang with problems with brand new cars like they did with the previous version of the rogue... Yep I have problems at mile number 1 that are still not solved 2 years later. The car dealers are completely at a loss of words for Nissans lack of response on nav head issues, batteries that go dead every three four months. But what's most disappointing is that Nissan has decided to ignore issues with the car and their long-term customers. As a business owner, I know it's a thousand times harder to get a new customer than it is to keep it existing one so I'm surprised that The alienated existing customers while throwing the dealerships under the bus. With that said, I don't expect any product to be perfect. However, how Nissan has dealt with the issue shows a character and integrity issue that didn't used to exist 5-10 years ago. Considering Nissan USA's pure lackluster response to known issues that they quote unquote said we know about it but we're not going to fix it while leaving customers stranded isn't acceptable and certainly not a risk I would take with buying a first model year. I guess I would take this risk only if the state that I live in has a very good lemon law. Nissan just poses too much risk and it's greedy motive to just sell new vehicles and not make customers happy.

Until Nissan stops using that noisy jatco CVT, I am not buying another Nissan. The CVT makes it feel cheap when accelerating. And that is the only weakness of it. Gosh.... its not a shame to admit that the Jatco CVT a bad idea. Leave the noise for sports cars and motorcycle lovers.

he keeps saying " buns" ( to the left and to the right) I am assuming "buttons" ... I don't think inarticulate voicing is good at maximizing sales of a product. I have have dealt with many people whose accent is impossible to understand so I do not consider purchasing any product when I have no idea what they are saying! I'm really tired of going to doctor's whose staff's Spanish accent (or Indian) is impossible to understand! English is the Mother language and if someone can't communicate it effectively they should not be hired. I'm tired of asking Three times, excuse me me, what did you say? America is going into a toilet with this " bleeding heart liberal bullshit"
