The Ford Taurus SHO pretty much has evolved into the Ford Explorer ST because my fully loaded 2015 SHO had all the same features as this Explorer ST minus the extra weight, 3.5L instead of 3.0L, ST has bigger turbos, and the tune Ford applied to get it to 400 HP. Besides that the SHO pretty much the same features available even all the way back to the 2015 model.

My massaging seats died few months in. It has constant odd electronic issues, locked me out and wouldn’t open yesterday? Also has a crappy small intercooler, along with weak rear end bolt. oh yea bad exhaust issues… the car needs modifying on all issues when you get it. The only real reason to get one at it’s insane price, is the speed. 😬😃This car will get down. Each mod has good rewards. It is amazing to drive, they even have a racing school for these!

@@alexmartin6031 I don’t know of many vehicles in this price range that even have the front heat/vent/massage let alone the 2nd row. Heck the Expedition only has the massaging seating on the platinum/king ranch trim.

I have heard some problems with the 3.0 ecoboost. Transmission is the 10r60 that is in the mustang, bronco, ranger and all explorer models. I’m picking up a 2.3 explorer in a couple weeks. Tried and true engine. Been out for over 7 years and is great.

Should've made the screen just as big as the f150 except not too big like the F150 but they really stepped up to the massaging seats to make it worth more. But I do love the Explorer King Ranch I'm not gonna lie it's a neat ride I happen to be a king ranch fan myself have the saddles for my horses as gifts from my uncle every year or so have the t shirts and all of that when my platinum 7.3 is ready to give up over the miles. But still love my 7.3 never giving that shit away it's a good truck but Maybe a king ranch 6.7 would be my next cattle whip.

The screen is placed for ease of use, high enough so your vision is not focused downward when driving- Big enough so you aren't struggling to see the information presented.

@@ikcewel Its a screen, not uncommon in the rest of our world. My complaint with it is the information layout is absurd. The back up cam is tiny, the satellite view is the size of a credit card, waisting most of the screen space. Apple Car play's entire space allocation is about 1/3 of the screen. Really, someone at Ford should be fired over the GUI. It truly sucks.

The ST is too expensive for my budget, but the St-line explorer is absolutely going to be my next vehicle. Little cheaper, and the engine should be more fuel efficient which is mainly what I’m after. I’ll be removing the third row seats and trashing them, but other than that, it’s a nice looking vehicle. Can’t wait to get one and take some road trips

we have a 2021 ST that we drove from the east coast and back (west coast). it was awesome. We did buy a tuner, so it gets much better gas mileage. we were getting 27mpg on the freeway. the main complaint with this vehicle is you would have thought they would have put a better exhaust system on there. I want to be heard.

Lol it's not a hybrid it's a V6 3.0L with twin turbos and 400 horse power stock right out the dealership parking lot. You can tune the heck out of these engines as well and get the ST 0-60 time to 5 seconds flat and if you add a few mods that are not super expensive with that tune you can probably get below 5 second 0-60

Overpriced? Try checking out a Grand Cherokee. Much more bang for your buck with the Explorer. Jeep priced me out of my range.
