The key point that you're missing out that is actually important is that it's not a CVT as in Corolla or Nissans - it doesn't have those belts an pulleys. It is a planetary gear with two electric motors - one for drive, another for energy recovery. The continuous adjustments in recovery ratio is what makes it a CVT like, but it is much more robust and reliable.

@@MilesPerHr looking for ES for my wife, could you please describe if there's any noticeable difference in suspension tuning for F sport? We were test driving EE350 Luxury and it was too floaty and plush, almost getting dizzy. She's coming from Infiniti m37 and that's my hope for F sport - tighter suspension. Just didn't yet get a chance to drive one.

Honestly. You can’t compare Lexus quality to a BMW. The BMW’s nowadays can’t last the mileage that a Lexus can without having any problems. So the quality is so different..

It's not on the hunt for a gear. The ideal transmission of any car when you floor it would be to sit at peak power while the wheel speed increases. That's the fastest way to do it.

It's a good car but man i hate the Interior. Hopefully they will fix that with the 8th generation.

Rear taillights are full LED (reverse, brake, turn signals). As a vegetarian, I appreciate the lack of “real” leather and metal finishes rather than wood. Id seriously considering this but the lack of power folding mirrors and power adjustable steering column just screams cheap. It’s weird because these features are available on Non F sport models. I hate cost cutting so much

The wing mirrors in UK premium edition do fold with a button as long as you push it before turning off the engine. It does have power steering column adjustment with memory.
