I own a 2014 Tundra crew cab 4x4 with 5.7 which is one of the most reliable engines ever built, easily goes 300k with oil changes. Adding turbos just adds headaches and eventual failures. My family has a 2014 Tundra that we got brand new back in 2014. We’ve only put 65,000 miles on it so it’s not even close to broken in yet for Toyota truck that could easily go over 1 million miles. The interior and exterior of the new tundra is beautiful. They did a great job with the design of the interior and exterior. However, I knew it would happen, but I’m super sad to see the old 5.7 V8 go. I know it is slow and has really shitty gas mileage but like I said, it could easily do 1 million miles, it’s a loud old school naturally aspirated V8 that sounds amazing. The new twin-turbo V6 seems like a decent engine. But the horsepower is weak and the gas mileage is only like 3 MPG better with city driving. We plan on keeping our 2014 for many more years. Not worth the upgrade at all to us. Especially since it’s only driven in the city and never taken on road trips.

The infotainment is obviously a good system to use (no home screen though), the wood trim feels fake on the door panels (idk why) but on the dashboard it was fine. I thought that was the only problem but after doing some research, they've been having problems with roofs leaking, transmission issues, electronic issues, door lock actuator failures, just to name a few. They should have stuck with what was tried and true. The limits especially of an ICE are only going to go so far and they had something that people bought before because it was bulletproof and not as complicated as this will be to work on.
