The IBEX 800T is a pretty amazing value. With the 2025 Explorer model only adding more value. But it's pretty limited off-road. The new 800MT-X (IBEX 800X?) promises to bring true off-road capability to the line. Effectively giving CFMoto a 790 Adventure R clone. Even offering additional fuel pods, providing a staggering 30.5L (8 gal) of fuel (0.5L more than a BMW R 1300 GS Adventure) ... Why has my comment been turned into links? I did not do this.

Can this compare with tracer 9 or xr900?How reliable is the bike?In my city people call it chinese garbage and people making reviews must follow certain rules like making video not too short and not trash talking the bike

Go ride one and see for yourself. The feel of the bike materials is great, not cheap feeling at all (like you would get with a MT07 for example), pretty responsive KTM engine, filled with all the accessories you need (except for the bags, which were actually included the first year the bike was sold), awesome quality large screen.. The only downside to this bike is the weight, it is a heavy bike but nothing too crazy. CFMoto is in this market for decades, it's not a crappy Chinese motorcycle company whatsoever.

Seems like a great bike for the price, but all the tech makes me question the strength of their support network. If they manage to stick around for the next few years, I'll definitely take a closer look. Philosophically, I'm opposed to anything tied to the CCCP. That said, if CF Moto proves itself and lasts another four years, I might reconsider.
