THE 2023 FASHION AWARDS ROAST (rita ora wore back spikes and . . . a primark dress)

The 2023 British Fashion Awards is meant to honor some of the fashion industries greatest creatives, and it does! But this year it also included a lot of messy moments, from winners being bullied off their social media accounts to Rita Ora's choice of wearing fast fashion brand Primark to an awards show about fashion designers who . . . often get knocked off by Primark. Luckily, we had a solid amount of celebrities and models show up and show out in both the newest and coolest designers as well as acrhive pieces from the likes of legends like Valentino Garavani & Vivienne Westwood.

@@angelicaterry3367 no, it's really just the fact that Rita doesn't have much of an active career going on (she was/is a singer) yet she always shows up at these prestigious events somehow. I have to say before anyone tries to correct me, Rita may have a career in general but she's not really a mainstream A-list celeb, never been. So as some might would say she's irrelevant. But she always gets invitations to these events, so good for Rita.

Thank you Luke. As a former runway model who was a size 11 shoe to go with being 6ft 1" I wore many size 9s and 10s all while appearing to float and trying not cry. Yes we were not saving lives but it was definitely not as easy as it looks.

The technique used on the Chet Lo dress to make the spikes isn’t actually Shibori. Rather it’s the way the dress is actually knitted that created the spikes :) knit grad here xx

According to ‚Rank A Brand‘, labels such as Ferragamo, Miu Miu, Prada etc. are often times just as unsustainable and unethical as brands like Primark. Correct me if I‘m wrong tho, I‘d love to see their designs in a better light. *Not an excuse for Primark or other fast fashion brands

Okay, FYI:if you want Loewe to fit, buy at one of the high end retailers in NYC and ask for hemming. I’m average height and they make jeans like Frame for six feet models, but if you’re paying that much, someone needs to help. This also makes me uncomfortable at the red carpet. If you know you are wearing pants and going to be seen by millions, can you plan and make sure they fit?
