I have an Odyssey Elite and absolutely LOVE IT - the 3.5 V6 and 10 spd A/T work well together, I regularly get over 30mpg in the highway. I really like what Honda has done here. We are currently in the market and The Pilot honestly was not on our radar with the old model but it is now with this refresh. I just wish they would have done a more significant improvement in the infotainment, they had a real opportunity there. Also, if they offered a hybrid or plug in option, they would have knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to see it in the metal in the beginning of the new year.

The pilot has been problematic as I had to have engine replaced at 127k and the AC doesn’t work and they are saying it’s $2500-4000 to fix. To me, it just seems so outdated still.. Kia and Hyundai look so good on the inside but I don’t quite trust them over Honda yet.

YES YES YES YES!! I love the smart design of Honda with their 2023 flexible 8 seat configuration. FINALLY decent space and room!!! I'm buying a Pilot instead of a Telluride. Thank you thank you. It was worth the wait all these years and you guys finally got rid of the distasteful mini van look! 👏👏👏👏

The taillights look very cheap and don’t match the vibe of this vehicle. And the interior is still lagging behind the competition.

The interior blows the highlander out of the water but it’s only a smidge behind the cx9 telluride palisade
@jxmar_2 жыл бұрын
@@naveenthemachine yet the highlander offers a 12.3 inch display on most trims, cooled seats on not just the top of the line model, hybrid option, bigger HUD, more premium looking taillights, more torque, digital rear view mirror, a fully digital gauge cluster that doesn’t come straight out of a compact car.. not to mention how practical the highlanders interior is.

@@jxmar_ the highlander interior is less practical than the pilot. And nowhere near as polished as the honda

I literally just purchased a 2022 Elite Pilot and absolutely love it. Actually, I traded in my 2022 RDX Advanced Aspec for this as there were so many features about the RDX I just did not like mainly the non-touch screen. I also did not like the fact I had to move my center elbow rest back to be able to have 2 cup holders. Lastly the gas milage really sucked which for me was the final straw. Why suffer with a smaller vehicle when I could get a pilot with a v6 with better gas milage and get all the things back that I hated about the RDX. I will say I Honda knocked it out of the park with this new body style but they really need to leave the rear captain's chairs as an option for us empty nesters and put just have an option for the cup holders and storage space. Other than that, inside and out, I really love the 2023 Pilot and hope to purchase one in the near future. As much as I like my gas vehicle it wouldn't hurt to have a hybrid version and for those of us that love power maybe a turbo v6.

They completely ripped off the Toyota Highlander XSE lol they didn’t even try to hide it lol

Honda did a better job ripping off the highlander XSE than the real highlander can pull off.

I bought a passport because of the 3.5 V6, 25k miles so far and still love it. I get 25mpg or better daily. If you put this to the floor it screams. P.S. …….it’s not unusual for me to hit 30mpg with the 3.5V6

Looks like an Explorer. And to be honest it looks pretty dated, not like a new car. It looks like it's from 2015.

Did Honda buy Subaru Ascents taillights and just stuck them on the new Pilot?

Looks good. I'm glad they didn't drop the V6. I can't believe they dropped the V6 in the new Kia Sorentos.
