Basically the Niro PHEV is a regular Niro with a bigger electric motor and a bigger battery. The combo gives you more power (180 horsepower vs 139 in the hybrid) and an all electric rage of 33 miles. What's the downside? Very little in reality. You lose a small amount of cargo capacity and hybrid mode economy drops from 53 combined to 48 combined.
