The 2023 Night Sky Almanac has a wealth of information about what will happen in the night sky throughout the year and where you can see both transient events like eclipses as well as highlighting great deep sky objects to see each month. What else does it have? And what could have it included? Check out this review for all the details.
See what's up in the night sky every week with "Eyes on the Sky" videos, astronomy made easy.

The RASC's Observer's Guide contains more information including positions of Jupiter's moons and Saturn's. Asteroids, conjunctions, transits, etc. The annular solar eclipse in 2023 is exciting. The 2024 total eclipse is the BIG one!

Indeed it does have more info; I have been getting that handbook since 2014. I was asked by the publisher to review this one though. And it's a worthwhile guide as a concise, easy to use handbook/calendar of events for the upcoming year.

The annular eclipse is kind of a big deal. I have a feeling many of us will be using it to scout locations (in Texas, anyway) for the total eclipse six months later.

Texas should be a good state as it generally has fewer clouds in April compared to many of the other states through which the total eclipse will cross.

It would not have the right information for India. The times of events and location of the maps are very much focused on North America. You may find the RASC Observer's Handbook for 2023 useful though - it provide all times for events in Universal Time, so you can convert it to your local time more easily.
