Nice review. I have a 2021 GSXR1000R. It is strong off the line and that low end grunt is the reason I bought it. I can go fast and be lazy without a lot of gear shifting, lol. I have done some cosmetic mods so far, but I have some performance mods I plan to do also. It's a keeper.

No, bought my first bike on my 18th birthday back in 2002 (Buell S3T😂) been riding ever since. Over the years, I’ve gravitated towards Yamaha for super sport motorcycles. Despite several of my friends owning one or more at any given time. Last week was the first time I rode one? 100% agree with Greg. The GSXR is pretty comfortable. When you mention 'spongy' brakes, it's important to realize this is a track bike. The pad compound is designed to be broken in and work properly at insanely high speeds. The brakes are quite effective once heated up and at over 100 mph. There are a few upgrades for this model that significantly improve up front braking.

I got a 750 and at 6'3" with the adjustable pegs lowered, its fantastic. I work at a dealership and I've ridden literally all the superbikes oodles of times. Nothing is like a GSXR, in both comfort and the awesome low end their clever tuning and exhaust provides, as far as an inline 4. One bummer is my 2015 has mirror blinkers and this has the cheap crap ones. The attention to detail on the 750 seems a notch better for some reason. Perhaps they deem it special.

I have a '18 Gixxer 750 and am told the litre bike is slightly more cramped. I am 6ft 2" so concerned about such issues. Up and down QS would be nice but since the 750 isn't ride by worse that never will happen. ABS would be nice in the wet but apart form those two issues the 750 is a better road and occasional track sports bike imo.

Mate, I'm glad you tried to clarify your statements of reasons not to buy a sports bike with this new review video. I have a gsxr (and busa's) and in the sports bike world, yes, the gsxr family do have a more comfortable riding position compared to their peers. And of course, city/suburbia/commute riding on a bike with a sit-up seating position is better but then when we go on weekend road trip in the country those riders are just a gaint wind sock in the breeze....They all have their place.

You can't ride a brand new bike and really tell exactly how brakes, suspension, clutch, and even how it makes power until the bike has a couple 1,000 miles on it and is broken in. I'm 54 years old and owned over 10 new super sports plus multiple other bikes. 35 years experience on the street, not counting dirt bike experience. I love the super sports for the suspension and handling. If I'm touring, sure I ride my touring bike. But for everyday fun, the Supersport is the way to go. I ride a lot on average 10,000 miles a year on just my GSX-R750 so in excellent riding shape. At 54 I ride for hours in the mountains. No issues as far as being comfortable. I really don't even think about it. Haha, most people are just in horrible shape (no core strength), so yes, they are miserable after 30 minutes of riding a Supersport. All these Supersport bikes are great, making plenty of power and can be tuned and set up for the person riding it.

Can’t buy them now over here in uk. Suzuki didn’t want to deal with euro emissions.

I agree with the walk around music, it can go and I’d probably be happier. You can talk about the bike while doing it, or cold start it and let it idle during the walk around, or just leave the video silent. That music, especially when it starts over, is awkward and sounds terrible

I don't think so. Better pads and steel braided brake lines would help a lot with the feeling

I love the looks of sport bikes❤. But when I tried to travel whole days long and experienced many poor condition road - then it's uncomfortable. Position too sporty to sit 7 hours daily, and suspension too stiff.
