It's a 10 year old software and they have newer ones. I don't think everyone uses carplay. I myself don't use apple car play. First od all, I like to have map in front of me in the guage cluster and you can't do that on apple car play. Also I make a lot of phone calls when I drive, and you can't even have the map and the phone app on a screen at the same time, you can't search conatcts on apple car play. When someone calls you it takes up the whole screen which isn't good when using gps. Also in VW cars ( opposite to BMW) you can't use shortcut keys of your system for apple car play to swich between the music and phone for example so it downgrades car system practically.

Gas powered cars are here to stay, every brand that brags about going full electric will eventually go back to petrol and diesel or Hybrid in the near future. Just my opinion. And this is not the "new" Continental GT, the new one looks different, it has eye-lashes :))

Well Doug, as you never mention it, as other Bentley cars, this one carries the incredible Naim Audio System. Better in the Flying Spur, bigger with more speakers etc but phenomenal still in this one. You mention the W12 engine an I really love the dark mysterious and incredible VW Phaeton, one of the most amazing and luxurious sedans ever produced, which had the same power train,l in fact some people called it (mistakenly) the poor man's Flying Spur, which appeared at the same time back then. Well, the Phaeton was as good as it come and I love it. I'm saying this because i saw one on the road the other day, almost unbadged completely one of those cars that, well, if you know you know, riding effortlessly over a 200 km per hour completely noiseless and magnificent.

I love this car, but honestly, I like my Subaru's ability to turn off my head unit with the big assed screen, and see everything (including CarPlay's Music and Map feature) on my central dash in the middle of my analog gauges. Something to be said about a drive without distractions and sometimes I just want to go back to the days without a head unit.
