Love your videos, Que! I was considering both the Integra and Civic Sport Touring. I ended up with the exact copy of the Civic you tested. To me Civic was a much better value with better interior. I think in day-to-day driving, Civic is almost indistinguishable from the Integra. It’s at or closer to the limits where things like LSD on the Integra really make a difference. I’m absolutely thrilled with the Civic!

The Sport Touring hatchback was supposed to be my current vehicle, but since they were all marked up I ended up with the Integra.

Very important point Mamba. At MSRP the Civic is the better value. But given Honda dealerships penchant for markups, the Integra throws a wrench in the works for said Honda stores.

the issue for me was finding the damn things I could only find 4-5 Sport touring hatches with a manual where I'm at when i wasl looking for a car and only one was in the boost blue i wanted on top of that, the dealer wanted $2500 of forced accessories, so basically $2500 adm on the other hand i found 3 manual integras at my local acura dealer alone, UNDER MSRP, not to mention a better warranty (50k miles on the teggy vs 36k miles on the civics) the local acura dealership experience is also far more solid to me the integra also gets some niceties such as the better engine tune, lsd, and better shifter, as well as ELS though I'm more partial to the civic's larger rear cargo opening haha

Appreciate the review. Been watching Civic SI and Sport Touring videos all day. You had the most detailed video and just wanted to say thank you for the attention to details. Probably gonna go with the SI though. I know it doesn’t come with fog lights, seat warmers and wireless chargers but just prefer my sedans! Thanks for the review again!!

I had a 2023 Civic ST before I had a 2024 Integra A Spec Tech and the Civic ST is definitely a nice car. I just feel like the Integra kicks things up a notch especially with the styling. Red seats are something I wanted for a long time and that was one of the main factors for me switching over to the Integra.

I bought the 2024 civic touring (non sport) in Aegan blue and it's an amazing car. Getting around 34 mpg also combined. Was tough finding the color though, had to wait a month for one in my area.

Oh man finally someone who knows both! I never understood why NONE of the other reviewers compared to a CST. I think a Hondata tune to reduce the rev hang would go a long way to making this thing ideal. How was the road/wind noise compared to integra?

I would definitely explore the tune. I can't stand the rev hang. I didn't notice much road noise to be honest.

⚡👍🏻 Finally. Thank You! I went car shopping at DHC Honda in Temecula California. The DHC Acura dealer is literally next door. I got to compare the two almost side by side. I wanted that Integra like you read about! I could not justify the cost for the Acura. I have been wanting someone to do The A spec with a sport touring. The Honda eats it's lunch. Still, the tegy looks so dam hot

Thank you for reviewing this car!!! I have the CVT version. My first car, its really fun, i need to put more miles on it. I wonder if he plans to put the front and back spoilers on it. I also wonder if the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 would be great on this car. I need to learn more about how to handle these turbos. If you're ever down here in Miami, Hop in my CVT version. I also put '93 octane in it.

I finally landed a job a few months ago that'll let me start saving decent money to buy a car, among other expenses. I was thinking about getting the newest gen impreza with the rs as an upgrade from my 2013 sport limited, but the infotainment, mpg, and cloth seating limitation have soured my taste for it. Been watching n' reading a lot on the civic, and it just looks and sounds better in every way aside from not being able to have awd, which I honestly don't really need.

Dam Que. It's like you're speaking directly to me. I got the Integra A-spec with a manual about 6 mos ago. Don't get me wrong, I love it. But .... the civic sport touring with the manual gives me just about everything I luv about the manual Integra for 6 Large less! Oh well ... not exactly buyers remorse but kinda. I console myself with the extra hp and slightly better sound system. The adaptive dampers seem great but honestly I can hardly notice the difference between settings. Stop talking to me!

I drove Si and Type R. On the ramps, there is no difference other than Type R rides much harsher. The power is more but so is torque steer. The best car here outside of a track is the Si. I'm not interested in any FWD platform so 86 or MX5 for me thank you

@@QueTheChaotic Miata I woukd wait for refresh that's announced with new screen, two way LSD and improved steering. Supposed to arrive in March. 86 I would wait for performance pack. Miata if you want modern S2000, uncompromising performance, can fit it in or work it in your life and plan on making track car one day down the road. It's the last of its kind. Sounds better and better shifter. Needs to be modded. 86 if you want almost the same kind of light performance, but more space, safety (it's hard top) and practicality. It's the better handling car out of the box no questions asked. I think both are the top 5 drivers cars on the market today.

I keep hearing the 1.5 has a problem with gas going into the Oil because of the direction injection and the heat gasket blows.

I wonder if it would be possible to replace the gloss black panel in the Integra's center console with the panel in the Civic Hatchback's center console. When are companies going to realize that gloss black makes any car interior look worse?

Good question. I noticed the are opposites in each car. The center console is gloss black and the dash is matte grey on the Integra. The dash is gloss black on the Civic

For my money, the Sport is a better value and car, it has the 2.0 liter not the 1.5 and the shifter in the sport is great. For 27k you can't beat the value of the sport and its motor is bullet proof, the 1.5 can suffer from oil dilution and or carbon build up.

the sport is too expensive for $27.5k when the 10th gen had superior performance from its 1.5 for less money if you want an solid NA engine, the 2.5 NA manual Mazda 3 isn't that much more and gets way nicer features

The oil dilution issues was mostly in the earlier 1.5t models with no vtec. Honda fixed this issue by adding vtec to the Honda/Acura models that are on the 1.5t platform. So far, it’s no more or no less reliable than a 2.0. There’s a video by Car Care Nut about hot to keep your turbo charged, direct injection motor as pristine as possible

The 1.5t (L15) is one of Hondas worst modern engines to date. Good power, but suffers from poor engineering. Top of that to many blown head gasket issues.

@@whereswaldo9089 where are these stats to support your claims? You call something “worse”, but not realizing it is still reliable based on maintenance and driving habits. And you’re talking about a fraction of a fraction when it comes to these head gasket issues. I hope you know that 2.0L engines also have had head gasket issues, amongst other things. Again, that’s only a small percentage of owners. Sounds like you’re just hating there, guy.

I've had the 22" Civic sport touring which I like it a lot, but the only down side of the car is road noise, as soon as it hit 35 mph I start to hear road noise😢
