@@kheldaryt I'm not just talking about customers, I'm also talking about car reviewers in general. They will tell you how they hate CVTs and complain about how slow a HR-V or Corolla Cross is but a Subaru that has a CVT that sounds worse and is just as slow is somehow no big deal.
@kheldaryt Жыл бұрын
@@skoprowski I see, I agree Subarus aren't nice and get a pass on a lot of stuff. I used to love Subaru back in the day when they made fun cars. Not remotely interested in them now but they have done a good brand job on 2 things in particular. 1. subaru's get an off roady/outdoorsy bonus so that kind of stuff doesn't matter as much? i.e. if 2 cars have cvt noise then HRV is going to be evaluated more harshly because you are taking it to the mall but Crosstrek you are doing extreme things like surfing or snowboarding. So as long as you get there it's not a big deal.... Don't think that's actually how people use them all the time but think it does mentally factor in. 2. Subaru currently has a secret sauce of not overpromising. They have done a good job of defining their brand. You don't expect it to be nice so no one is disappointed.
