Looks good outside, but the interior screen is not an elegant solution. I don’t know why automakers including Mercedes think it is okay to tack an iPad to a dash. A premium automaker should not settle for this type of solution. Buick doesn’t settle for that. I don’t think Hyundai does. Design a modern dashboard.

The venerable 747. I remember reading about its development in Popular Science magazine in grade school. Its gone through many avionic upgrades and engine improvement over the years, but still couldn't keep pace with more fuel efficient engine designs and finally had to throw in the towel to more cost effective twin engine designs, It just couldn't keep pace, despite it extra large seating capacity. Wonder what the president will be flying next, since Boeing no longer builds anything that large anymore.

Can anyone give more insight on the B5- B6? I know the B5- B6 began to roll out in 2023. What concerns me is the complexity of the engines, hybrid with a turbo and supercharger. Are there any high mileage B5-B6 engines out there?
@martinlarsson538Ай бұрын
I have a 2021 B5, in a XC60 though. almost 60000km on it so not really high. But it's not that much more complex, I think it mostly help starting up the engine and make start stop feature useable. It also help to spool the turbo a little bit and in theory Volvo claim that it will lower consumption in traffic slightly I think. B5 and B6 is same engines, B5 got turbo and B6 is turbo and super charged.

I know and I owned two Volvos, in 86 model and an 89 model and both were incredible cars. My 1986 had over 480,000 miles on it and I gave it to a homeless person and I have no idea how long he drove it. Somehow I blew a hole in the piston on the 89 model at 288,000 miles. The 89 made a lot more power with a V6 and the 86 had a inline 6 that was like a tractor engine with about 90 horsepower but they were really cool looking. Leather seats, sunroofs, mag aluminum wheels which weren't common in the 80s. I've always wanted to buy another one but I'm big on doing research before I purchase anything. My research and intelligence tells me otherwise

The materials look nice but the interior and exterior design look dated. They look like they’re from 12 years ago. The driver’s display looks dated and the infotainment looks like it needs to be updated as well. The large glass roof helps to make the cabin look brighter. The rear of the center console looks nice. Thank you Volvo for the bench seat option! That 2nd row seat doesn’t move forward enough for 3rd row access. Like in so many “three row SUVs” that third row is laughable for adults. This wouldn’t work for me as a 3 row suv because of that 2nd row. I want a vehicle that can seat adults in that 3rd row.
