As someone who doesn't follow college basketball I feel like every other year I hear this is a generational or somehow abnormally strong draft.
@PickpocketJones50 минут бұрын
I think it's because you don't follow it because that hasn't been the case at all. 2021 was the last one considered a strong draft, last year was considered all time weak. 2022 wasn't considered strong per se, it just had an all time prospect in Wemby. 2020 was considered weak, 2019 was a stong top 3 but weak overall, 2018 wasn't considered particularly strong, etc.

It’s pretty simple. If a team really needs a guard they draft Dylan Harper. Otherwise they draft cooper.

Ace Bailey is the same player as Jabari Smith Jr in basically every sense. They're basically the same players, can't get to the rim, tall wings that are very frail, take 85-90% jump shots, can't pass. They're the same. And I hope scout's realize this
@charlescohen61402 сағат бұрын
Much more aggressive and can shoot off the dribble. It’s hard to remember that many felt Jabari should go one. Give this kid more than 10 games and to mature as he is only 18.

@@SportingLogically i think you have to look at strength of schedule. cooper flagg has had the hardest schedule. dylan harper may take number 1 spot. but you are seeing players like ego demin now playing teams that actually guard and play defence struggling because their ball handling not great and they cant create their own shots against good teams. even edgecomb dropping. as teams player ranked teams that play defence you gonna see the lesser talents drop.
@solomnpennix92772 сағат бұрын
I see a more talented Jerami Grant for Flagg, shades of Harden for Harper, and a mix of Jabari Smith Jr and Brandon Miller for Bailey

as a nets fan would you take flagg at 1 if he tore his acl in march madness? is there that much of a difference there? especially for a team that would like to tank anyway

I can't remember the last time we said, "he's turned into a super star becaue of his wing span" you still have to be a good basketball player regardless of wing span
@obi392434 минут бұрын
Obviously, but wingspan is still very much an important measurement in basketball. Giannis’s wingspan is an important aspect of how he does what he does on both ends of the floor.

Ace isn't a "combo guard wing", he's not remotely a guard. Everyone considers Tatum a top 10 player. So many questionable statements in this video.

In person I saw Rutgers (Cam Johnson was there cause his bro plays “Puff”) Dylan has the D’Angelo Russell problem when he tries to make every single shot looks smooth He’s either gonna be SGA or Dlo Bailey has the muscle mass of a 16 year kid. Some people in the LA fitness are more in bigger than ace right now. He’s gonna go to the rim eventually and put on weight but he’s getting bullied by college players right now They’re trying to get into his head and they’re trying to muscle him out the way I think Ace gonna develop it’s gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out

Flagg plays with a ball dominant, shoot-first point guard who is trying to raise his own stock, on a team that's built for multiple options outside of Flagg. Rutgers was a nothing team when the other two decided to team up, so they pretty much shape it. Look at how Flagg played against the best the NBA had to offer in the scrimmage. That should answer every question you have.
@melomanace34152 сағат бұрын
Wrong. Flagg isn't playing with a pg right now.

@semiotik they took him off the ball to find a role for foster. Foster sucks and can't beat anyone off the dribble. Proctor is still playing the "combo guard" role despite being the guard with the most ball skill on the team.
