Kind of your call. If you want more stability go with the wide though, that extra surface area comes in handy.

I have watched all your Rome videos (brilliant content, thanks so much!) and am still confused... looking for a new board for my intermediate rad dad husband. I'm a charging down reds and blacks and powder kinda gal, he is newer to the sport but as a surfer and skater likes to play bit more, butter and hit smallish jumps. I want him to have fun obviously but he needs to be able to keep up, too :) Do I buy him the Warden, Artifact or Freaker for Christmas (extra brownie points for binding recs pretty please)? Honestly might like a Gangplank or Party Mod more if he's coming from a skate background. Also I'd slap some Vices or Katana's on it and call it a day.

I been riding the ravine select from last year for back country heavy riding and a park board but bouth Broke it under the back binding but I wanna try the new ravine pro un 158 as a one board quiver

Hey Avran, I‘m looking for a Freestyle board. I am pretty experienced besides freestyle. I want to work on that and get into a lot of buttering and jumps (first small and medium). I was thinking about the Huck Knife or the Sleepwalker. Any recommendations?

You probably just want an Artifact over this if you're doing Rome. Otherwise Sleepwalker, Capita Indoor Survival, Ride Kink or a Zero.

They're really similar to the point you're splitting hairs. Both fit what you're looking for though.
