Great review! I've had like 6 iterations or "models" of the assassin and without having tried this new version the review feels on point... now i have to try this aswell .. sounds like all ive wanted about it to change. Used to be the guy who wanted the progression.. becoming the rad dad now i guess...

I demoed this board at Brighton UT last season and it’s definitely way better than previous generations. I have one on the way to ride as my all mountain board this year. Really liked how it rode everything with snap pop and power. 🤙 159. 6’ 178 lbs

I wonder if this is going to ride better than my 2024 Goliath? Deciding wether or not I am going to roll with the Goliath again this year or switch it up. Mostly just carving and groomers. Also have a Proto FR but it's often more board than I want most of the time. Goliath is at times less board than I want.

@AngrySnowboarder how would the Bataelon astro asymwrap's do on this? My knees hurt, looking for a damper binding. Open to other suggestions too.
@AngrySnowboarderКүн бұрын
Solid choice. I'd also look at either the Nitro Team or Team pro or maybe the Phantom since you have knee issues. And if you haven't already change out the stock insoles in your boots to something that gives more support and has more shock absorption.

Thanks for the review. I’m definitely going to upgrade to the Assassin this year! But, I’m undecided on the size between 156 and 159. I’m 5’9”, weigh 195 lbs, and wear a size 9 boot. The size chart says my weight would put be out of the range for the 156, but I’m leaning 156 anyway because I almost never rip faster than 35 mph. Generally, I’m looking for a versatile board that’d be the only board I own in Colorado. Do you recommend a certain size for me or can I go either way?

Does the Shadowban cradle the rail a bit more than this one?
@AngrySnowboarderАй бұрын
No, this is softer between the feet initially.
@sh0ulderh0pper4Ай бұрын
@ ok, thanks. Is the Assassin as light as the assassin pro? Or at least lighter than the Shadowban? I find the Shadowban kinda heavy compared to my park boards. I got one but still on the wrapper and was considering returning it and getting a board a bit more park focused and am considering the Assassin, since I love directional twin shapes.

How does it compare to the shadowban in off piste chunder and edge hold on hard snow?
@AngrySnowboarder3 ай бұрын
It's not as damp underfoot and a lot of that comes down to the amount of urethane in the Ride. It's also not as grippy as the Ride.
