Thanks to Keeps for sponsoring this video! Head to www.keeps.com/redline to get a special offer!
Just when you thought the #FamilySedan was dead, the most popular model in America gets a full redesign for 2025. The all-new #ToyotaCamry returns as the #CamryHybrid only, with both the 2.5L gas 4-cylinder and 3.5L V6 discontinued. The new #Camry features the latest #Hybrid powertrain making 225 HP on FWD models, or 232 HP with new AWD Hybrid model. It goes on sale in the Spring of 2024.

Hey guys! Hope you all are having a fantastic week. We'd like to once again thank the sponsor of this video, Keeps. Please be sure to visit www.keeps.com/redline to get a special offer. We also wanted to clarify the LED daytime running lights, they are indeed amber in color, but only at night. During the day, Toyota says it switches over to a white DRL. Let's hope that either a TRD or GR Camry will follow this new version at some point!

It looks handsome tbh. I was worried about how it would turn out using the "hammerhead" design cues of the Prius and Crown, but it looks pretty nice. I was hoping that the TRD trim would continue though...or maybe even a GR trim. If they ever decide to put the Hybrid Max drivetrain from the Crown into the Camry, that'd be a pretty good way to reintroduce the TRD trim in the future.
@supernova4300
@supernova4300 6 ай бұрын
That would be nice, a proper TRD trim with well over 300hp & over 300 torque.
@joshuagray720
@joshuagray720 6 ай бұрын
@@supernova4300 If I'm not mistaken, the Hybrid Max drivetrain for the Crown has a turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 340HP when paired with the rear electric motor. Put that into the Camry chassis, then slap on an aggressive exhaust with some aero pieces, and BOOM! You have a fun-to-drive sports sedan that also remains an HEV. But you know what would be REALLY bold? If they made a GR Camry, with some combination of the hybrid system and the GR-Four drivetrain.
@Uty-yo9np
@Uty-yo9np 6 ай бұрын
I like the refresh. But I was hoping there would be a more powerful power train available for the Camry. I guess Toyota and Lexus have decided to offer more distinction across the Camry, Crown and ES models as opposed to previous years where both companies shared similar power trains

It looks similar to the current one. Looks like a heavy refresh. Not sure if I like the exterior but it is definitely better than the new accord. Since it’s all hybrid I think they should have went a step further and made the hybrid max powertrain as an option on xse with 300 hp and AWD and the 340hp version with AWD in a GR Camry version. I’m not surprised as this is what the market for these cars is like. Still better than the new accord but I’ll keep my accord 2.0t for awhile. 😩

It was gonna be hard to top that WOW factor the 2018 model brought. While that style did fade over time, it really was such a huge change for the Camry in particular as it told the world that Toyota can make sexy sedans. You no longer needed to go to the other Japanese automakers for that curb appeal. I loved this design language in the new Prius, but I am not really digging the front fascia on this year's Camry. I'll take the XSE front end over the XLE though, much better by comparison. I do like that the side profile seems very similar to last gen. Interior-wise, I really like it. I feel like the '18 model generation came in at just the wrong time when it comes to Toyota interiors, in particular the tech. The refreshes helped but it still lagged in tech by a longshot compared to other vehicles in their lineup. As a 2018 Camry Hybrid XLE owner, I am not too keen to upgrade, but if my car were to get totaled (God Forbid) I would definitely consider this.

Disappointed. I wanted a full redesign not just a refresh/facelift. Looks way too similar to the previous generation and looks way more basic than the new Prius.

With my 2021 XSE lease coming to an end this upcoming summer, I was really looking forward to seeing the redesign. While I really like what they’ve done inside and out in regard to aesthetics, only having a hybrid option and moving to CVT transmission only, I’m very disappointed. Also, it might be small to most, but ruining symmetry by not having the quad exhaust bothers me. I think I’m just gonna buy out my current lease and keep my 2021 at this point.

@jml9550 Oh yes! Can't go wrong with a Porsche. When it comes to that price range, yes, I immediately would know what I want, but I'm not there yet financially. Hell, if Ford would remake a 03-04 Terminator Cobra and just modernize it to up to date standards as far as the interior and safety features, I'd buy it! I don't need an expensive car.
