Happy New Year everyone! We just wanted to wish everyone best wishes in 2025! Last year was certainly a crazy year for us with so trips and cars to film, but cheers to an even better year and you all can expect even more content in the New Year! We figured this 2025 ID.Buzz would be the perfect car to kick off the new year and this vehicle is probably the one we spent a full week with where it got the MOST attention everywhere we took it! We're hoping to be able to get our hands on the AWD version later this year, but for a "base" powertrain, this van is quick! One of the quickest accelerating vans on the market today.

This is so cool and unique but gets TOTALLY let down in my opinion by the seriously mediocre range around 230 miles. It's basically a pain to take on most any mid to long range road trip, and a 3 row hauler generally will probably be asked to do that on more than a few occasions. If they only had a longer range option available I feel like that would cover most people's objections. Fact is you can get into a EV9 with 304 miles of range for $60k MSRP and the Ioniq 9 will have well in excess of 300 miles of range (as a cost TBD) and people will just generally be more comfortable with that with a family 3 row hauler. I wonder if we will see a longer range version sooner than later.

It’s expensive at a time when the $70k+ price point is under immense pressure; 3.It’s an EV at a time when the USA is not ready at home or on the road; 4. It has a real world range well under 300 at a time when that is considered bare minimum; and 5. It’s a retro at a time when those have fallen from style preferences. Notice I haven’t bashed any sacred cow. It’s just a product which has come a decade too late with too little.

You get only the long Versions with same length as Multivan with ICE...way more cargo length in this case. NO, the Buzz has not less space, but much more compared to ICE Vans, since they have to waste Length for the Engine in the front...this is the big advantage of a pure EV Platform...shorter, while bigger inside the same time. I do find it funny how much people in here are complaining about the price even with the video clearly laying out the competition pricing. You’re paying a $5-10k premium for one of the most unique looking cars on the road. Whether that’s worth it is up to you but to act as if similar cars aren’t within $10k in price is silly. I do acknowledge that the EV market is in a weird spot now since they’re more expensive and depreciating fast. I’ll be curious to see what happens, especially with the new administration, but on the other hand I don’t know if I can wait to buy a new family car and we want something we can plug in…it’s a rough spot with only this or the EV9 to really choose from in this price bracket and style.
