In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The ideas for learning delivery have been the focus and drive for teaching in New Zealand for the last 5 - 10 years. the challenge is to manage a classroom of 30 students at high school where there are behavioral issues. Yes engagement is better but there are always students that will be off task and disruptive no matter how engaging the content is.
