On the balanced build it said something about the motherboard being updated if it’s using an older version of bios … what does that mean and how would I know? This is my first gaming pc and I really have no clue what I’m doing lol

BIOS is a little more complicated than just slapping everything together and turning the PC on. But there’s plenty of KZbin videos on how to check your version and how to update it if needed.

Want to see the x3d build you spoke of. What aesthetic choices will you make? I do like me some white builds.

Thanks, Danny. This helps a LOT. 👍🏼 With all the ass-hattery that's been going on over at Intel lately, I'm seriously considering trying my hand at an AMD build later this year. Coincidentally, I've recently been buying a lot of *DeepCool* stuff from inventory liquidators who are damned near _giving it away_ over on eBay (which is where it all seems to have ended up after being pulled from store shelves because of the ban), so I _now_ have *11* brand new, still in the shrink-wrap AIOs (I'm currently working on *4* Intel builds, mind you. 😆😆😆). This makes getting my feet wet with *Team Red* a much more affordable (as well as more attractive) option. So, as I'm stuck with these Intel CPUs I've got sitting on the shelf, waiting for their microcode update to make its way into various BIOS updates next month -- I might as well shop for some bargain-priced components in the meantime. 🤑💳💸 Thanks again. ☮

I saw a post thing morning on Twitter saying Intel will not be releasing microcode. Not sure what the fix is gonna be but things seem to be getting worse before they’re getting better.

@@DannysTechChannel Oboy.🙄 If there's any truth to it I'm sure Gamers Nexus will be all over it by Monday (at the latest, heh). In the mean time, _I'm window shopping for Team Red, baby!!_ 🛒🛍🏬🏪

Allow me to write a second comment. I would love to replay some classic games, but this time as they were "meant to be played". What I mean by this is taking advantage of a modern RTX GPU that allows me to use 2.25x DLDSR or even 4.00x old school DSR. Many old games did NOT have good Anti Aliasing options. By using 4X DSR one basically eliminates 99% of Aliasing. Moreover a 1080p Monitor is great for old games because 4.00X DSR is like running Native 4K and that is easily feasible in old games, plus, old games were NOT designed to play in such high resolutions. Try playing very old games on a 4K Monitor and you will need a magnifying glass to read the Game Menu 😂 Moreover those who want to stream their game online would benefit from a RTX GPU as the NVIDIA ENCODER (NVENC) for both X265 (hevc) and AV1 is far superior than that of AMD. One would need a much higher bitrate in order to reach the same image quality using an AMD GPU.

Thanks for the insight on this. I too have a soft spot for older games. Brings back good memories of simpler times 😊

@@DannysTechChannel Yeah! I guess I am just a few years younger than you which means that - both me and you - have experienced games from the 2000s onwards! Keep posting awesome content 😁

I have a 1440p ultrawide monitor. So I was thinking of going for a Ryzen 5 7600, but after watching this video. I think I'll get a cheaper GPU and get the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Still not sure if I want to stay with NVIDIA, or try out team red

Like I was saying, it really depends if you want to use all the features that Nvidia shines at. DLSS and Ray Tracing

Is the high end market, like 4080s and 7900 XTX I’d use Ray Tracing and stuff, but mid tier and budget I don’t. DLSS will just increase your frame rate and Ray Tracing makes the games look nicer.
